Actually I'd forgotten about that, It keeps the base of the boot the same size but increases the space quite a bit at dog head height when doggie sits up. Must give it a go on mine as I almost never have people in the back.
Me too - there was no insurance requirement from any of the insurers that I got quotes from via GoCompare.
The car contains a GPS and uplink of location anyway and you can set alerts if it leaves defined locations (I have home set up as a location).
Clever car thief's these days use phone...
I did a test drive in the Q6 and was very impressed. It does have a little more room in the boot which would suit our two dogs (Cocker Spaniel and Border Collie) very well.
But then I had a test drive of the Porsche Macan found I was doomed to buy one - it really is that much better and for...
In August I did 250 miles on one trip pulling into the charger location still at 25% and 83 miles - this was almost entirely 70pmh motorway driving. Very happy with that.
So, it's a little disappointing to hear that the colder weather range is only 250 miles. All depends on speed though I...
Mines a Pod Point charger installed in Jan 2021 and it has a scheduler that can be configured via the Pod Point iPhone app.
Are you sure yours doesn't?
I agree - this is what I do too and it works very well.
I set my charger schedule for 23:30 to 05:30 and the car has no schedule set at all, just a max charge setting of usually 80%. Then just plug in the car when you get home and the house charger switches on at the appropriate time and the...
I might be wrong as I've only had one drive post update but my initial impression is that it is switching to the full beam more often/more quickly. Pre Update, I sometimes still had to manually switch to full beam on some dark/empty roads whereas now it's doing it automatically.
I also notice that in the UK, the Macan RWD and 4 can no longer have Drive Assist/Innodrive optioned. If you want this then you'll need to upgrade to at least a 4s.
I got the software update yesterday and then went on a 55 mile errand. All good although no visual differences I can see in the various displays.
A few immediate observations though:
1. Speed limit detection now seems correct - including in locations it definitely wasn't before.
2. The Matrix...
Mine did exactly this in August for 2 weeks and then inexplicably returned to normal working.
After a week I called my dealer and had it booked in to be looked at but it returned to normal working on the day it went in. Dealer couldn't find any faults.
I just force terminated the Porsche App on my phone the the OTA function is active now for me too. It was definitely inactive when I checked a few hours ago.
My car has this 1% /day loss too but it seems from this forum poll that 69% of respondents don't have a SoC loss problem, so it's not something wrong with the design but our individual cars.
I'm going to try out the new major software update (I'm scheduled for 3 weeks time) and then pick it up...
That's what I do when I notice the Smart Lift hasn't worked.
When I haven't noticed I simply scrape the splitter as a lesson to myself. To be fair, the driveway seem to have only one line over it that is low enough to scrape the front in normal mode so mostly I miss it.
My smart lift always works when arrive at home, but reverts to the normal level by next day. When leaving home again the Smart Lift doesn't engage about 1 in 3 times.
