Had the dealer do a reset of all systems. Still doesn't work.
They tell me they will keep the car for a couple of days to work through same software issues.
I choose to live without Plug and Change for the time being. They can fix it when I'm in the shop for the next issue.
Yes, tried everything suggested. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the "please try again" response. Also I don't see any option to turn off P&C in the Privacy settings as some have suggested?
I have been trying to change my Charging Settings (in the app) to allow Plug and Change but I keep getting the message telling me to "try again". I have followed all of the steps in the manual but must be missing something?
When the rear hatch is open there is quite a loud beep if you put the car in reverse. I want the back open when I back my boat trailer onto the boat ramp. Is there any way to mute that alarm?
So, for my car at least, you DON'T have to go to settings! You just hit your name at the top of the main screen and click the "Changing Access Protection" button to change to no protection and disable the log-in requirement every time you get in the car.
I've reached the 30 minute free limit several times when the charger slows down above 80%. I just unplugged (no one was waiting) and plugged back in for another free charging session.
I think the first 3-4 days the lone repair guy who works on software was out and then they tell me it took an entire day due to numerous failures. They then kept in over a weekend to continue testing after a "resting" period. Then 60-70 functions (they tell me) had to be reprogrammed. I am OK...
My car just spent a week in the shop getting the VR28.11 software update. The security code has been required every time I get in the car since. Porsche of America sent me instructions on how to avoid that but even their instructions ask me to click on an account tab that doesn't exist.
Thanks - this gets me a little closer but...when I click on "Add account" I hear a little click (the one that verifies you pushed the button) but nothing happens on the screen. The screen you show in the image above does not appear on my dash.
Since the last update my EV requires me to enter my 4 digit security code every time I start the car. This wasn't required before.
When I search the manual and the app I only see an option for updating/changing the security code. I don't see an option for "Save my security Code - don't ask for...
Thank You - that is a terrific listing of the icons if you have a "warning" message or icon pop up. It doesn't appear to show all of the various icons (and there appear to be quite a few).
The one I am looking for doesn't appear on any of the pages you mention.
I really appreciate your taking...
I actually searched the manual for quite awhile before posting, thank you.
Nothing can be found by searching the terms: icon, dashboard, safety, heart icon, display, instrument cluster, etc.
I'm guessing that if you KNOW what the icon means, you can probably find a description of that icon on...
I had a total of 4 different warnings including, "Lane Change Assist", "Turn Assist", "Rear Cross Traffic Alert" and "Component Protection". As well as the little heart icon as well as several others.
Does anyone know where there is a listing of the little icons (that we may or may not ever...
Mine was updated 2 weeks ago due to problems with systems that stopped working. It's back in the shop today to correct the same issues. Hopefully they get it fixed this time and you get a new car that doesn't need repeated trips back to the shop.
