I just watched this YouTube video from State of Charge
I thought it was really cool that he tested the same vehicle driving 70 miles an hour versus 80 miles an hour to see how much range loss there was at the higher speed
Then he calculated which speed would get you to your destination...
Not bad at all @CaseyATX! You're lucky you have cool black and white plates that look great on the white car too.
@flowerman, Nice. I feel much better after seeing these. I was worried they would be higher up on the front before.
I'm having trouble finding accurate information about when the two currently available model years of the Macan 4 were first delivered to customers. Does anyone know the approximate delivery dates for these trims? Like when they were first available in dealer inventory for purchase or delivered...
As a data analyst, I love looking at charts and optimizing things. Just for fun, I built a sheet to look at the residual value of a CPO Macan vs loan balance and warranty.

Find an optimal window to buy, own, and then sell a lightly-optioned CPO Macan 4.

Thanks! Most of the videos were disabled, and the pics were very close up so it's a bit hard to tell. But I did find one vertical video with a plate holder that was empty. Overall, not quite as bad as I envisioned, but I still wish we didn't need front plates on such a beautiful vehicle.
I've watched just about every video of the electric Macan on YouTube, and looked at hundreds+ of photos online. I just realized I have never seen a photo of a Macan with a front license plate from the U.S. — I've seen plenty of videos and pics with the skinnier European style plates.

Most of the sites described it as pretty comprehensive, excluding normal wear and tear, but otherwise covering everything. But it does sound like there might be some minor variance from one dealer to another.
Also worth noting that if you are technically "leasing" the car, and don't actually own it, you won't get paid by the insurance company if the car is totaled in an accident.
The leasing company gets paid out for the value of the car, so you lose all the money you put into the lease.
I'd think...

One thing to consider, if you do a one-pay lease and pay out $40k - $50k upfront, and the car is totaled 1 month later, you lost 100% of that cash. The insurance company won't give you a dime because you don't own the car. They pay the leasing company.
In other words, you lost $50k, and the...
I've read many different descriptions of what qualifies for a CPO Porsche. Some describe it as a dealer-owned vehicle that was never officially sold to anyone. But several Porsche dealer websites describe it much more broadly in terms of the mileage, year, and inspection with a warranty.
I was...
I'm in a similar position as you — but I'm (hopefully) about 1 year away from being a first time Porsche owner. Waiting on my current ID.4 lease to end.
I just watched some great videos on YouTube about how Porsche assembles ICE Macans as well as Taycans. I had no idea they use so many robots...
If there's one thing I've learned over my many years leasing and buying cars, it's that we all get different deals — even for the exact same car. It depends on market conditions, dealer desperation, and our ability to negotiate (or not).
So, while some folks may be able to get a great deal on...
