Macan EV Collapsible Tyre - London TW9

Well... I guess if you have a puncture 4mm or less it 'might' work... But you then have a nightmare cleaning up the mess on your rims inside and still no guarantee of a fix... Mine was a gash on the inside wall around 15mm wide... :-( Info on sealants and best buys here...

Macan EV Collapsible Tyre - London TW9

Having only recently having a puncture and being stranded on a Friday night in the pouring rain on a single track country lane, having this collapsable would have been a life-saver, rather than being put on a flat bed and waiting 5 days for a company to come out and replace the tyre at my house...

Macan 4 EV - Octopus intelligent sync issue

If it helps, I get a fault on the car (Red everywhere) and message from the App when I plug the car in and the charger is set for 'scheduled charge', it then might result in 'Vehicle Not Plugged in' message on the app. However, once the charger switches on at the scheduled time, the car bursts...

Macan 4 EV - Octopus intelligent sync issue

100% agree! Now I have solar and batteries, it's no longer a concern as the off peak octopus charges my batteries and all the solar gets sold back to the grid. But people without solar/batteries can flex the cheap rate during the day by 'creative' use of plugging the car in and adjusting the...

Macan 4 EV - Octopus intelligent sync issue

As per the post above, the fact that you can get up to an additional 6 Hours of 7p per KWh for the WHOLE HOUSE in addition to the 11:30pm to 5:30pm standard off peak by strategically plugging in your car outside of the off peak hours is a massive bonus for me with Octopus... :-) But, you do get...

Are All-Weather Mats Worth It for a Turbo in London?

Hey, get the All Weather Mats... You won't regret it. I had to wait 7 months for mine when they were ordered with the car as there was a delay, but in that time, the carpet mats just got really dirty despite regular cleaning. Had them in my original ICE Macan so knew they would be a good idea...

Dashcam installation issues -- fuse box location?

Sorry this took so long to get the photos and post, but here are some photos showing the camera install. Both in position and showing the cable into the OBD port etc. so no need for fuses etc. Parking mode works fine, uses voltage drop to know when the car is 'driving' and when turned off...

Dashcam installation issues -- fuse box location?

My Dash Cam from NextBase (IQ) plugs directly into the OBD port and works a treat both driving and in parking mode. No noticable battery drain even when car isnt used for multiple weeks and the dash cam is a 'connected' one so is constantly monitoring and sends me alerts if movement detected...
