Black Exhaust Tip Installed on TRD Pro

Thanks for the info … I wonder if this tip fits the prior generation one also ? The parts guy at my dealership made it sound as they did not have it in their system because it was a new vehicle … ie 2025… either way as long as it fits it doesn’t matter

It says 8/1/24 on the box, so I’m not exactly sure. I just picked it up from the dealer and haven’t had a chance to try to install it yet. The OP has a couple of photos and I think it looks the same, but not sure.

Is everyone else with a Pro getting the black tip even if they wasn't listed on the build sheet. From my research and talking to the tech at the dealership, they are not a standard item for Pro's, just an option.

I'd sure like to be wrong and save the $90.

My spot on the waitlist moved up and someone ahead of me backed out at the last minute on an Underground TRD Pro. I went to the dealership today to drive it and lock it in (excited as Underground was my first color choice). However, i did notice that this TRD Pro also did not have the black exhaust tip, i mentioned this to the sales person as well and she said she'd inquire as to why.

Aside from the v-spec sheet that is referenced earlier in the thread is there anything else i can show my dealer that indicates this tip is standard on TRD Pro's? hopefully taking delivery this coming wednesday or thursday

i ended up giving the part number to my dealer and they ordered the black exhaust

Is it just a slip on over the existing exhaust?

I can’t believe I’m still going back with the GM at my dealership trying to get my exhaust tip for my pro. I even sent him screenshots from this thread and the part number. He came back with, the part number is for the 5th gen 4Runner not the 6th gen.
