Any know of any companies or have any ideas of front plate mounting solutions that doesn't involve drilling into the front bumper?

Not yet! I've been looking. Hopefully someone will come up with something here soon, before we all get fix it tickets...

I'm now considering the ideas of mounting with super strong rubber coated magnets to the front bumper...or mounting with suction cups to the inside of the windshield. Has anyone here ever tried either of these options?

One of the things I love about living in Wyoming is the lack of extraneous laws. If you don’t have a place to mount a front license plate then you don’t have to have one. Damn dealer mounted their marketing plate through the bumper cover and since there is now “a place” I have to have one. When I get my CBI Covert winch bumper it doesn’t have one so I can then go without .

You could use clear mounting tape on inside - the gorilla glue brand removes easily from glass

That's an interesting suggestion however I am getting my windshield tinted with the best & most costly ceramic tint. I wonder if the Gorilla Glue mounting tape will hold up to the heat of the sun & also the adhesive still be removable from the tint without damaging it. I'll need to research that.

Perhaps I could use the Gorilla Glue mounting tape on the outside on the bumper where the plate would usually be mounted. Similarly though, I am getting expensive paint protection film (PPF) installed including on the bumper so I would need to know if the adhesive will be removable without causing damage to the expensive PPF.

I guess magnets are not option since I've been told the bumper is aluminium & magnets won't adhere to it.

GG tape has a 20# hold but not sure about the bond strength of those coatings u added. I’m Houston too - if I find something will let u know. I have a coworker w a Tacoma trd pro and he got an under mount kit from someone on the Tacoma forum - he cannot find them now but did send me the schematics. I may ponder fabricating something similar this weekend

I’m not even gonna lie I’m glad I don’t live in a State that requires a front license plate.
