Here’s how to black out your front Toyota badge for less than $10.



My dealer wanted over $120 to order and install the black badge so I figured I’d find a way to do it myself. I chose to go with plasti dip so that I could easily reverse back to chrome if i didn’t like the look or wanted to change the color later on down the road.

Depends on the person. I’d buy the Emblem simply so I didn’t have to plasti dip it. But I suppose anyone that plasti dips.

I have already stripped it down and will be painting it matte black this weekend

Some people like them with backlights, others like them in black. These products should be cheap, but Toyota doesn't think so.

As far as I know they only offer the overlay. Part number ‎PT948-35245-02
