Some Info for East Coast Allocation/Order Holders

Guess I will contact my sales guy Monday and see what he says on my ETA. He made it sound like by next weekend I would be getting it. The dealership I'm using is 4 hours away so I don't wanna make that drive for nothing.

Do you have the link for your build? You can right click details and check the vspec info. If you still have an eta on that you should be fine

No I don’t. Just the vin. Salesman text me thought and said its all the Off Roads only so no eta now when mine is coming. Hopefully something quick cuz I was getting it this coming weekend

my Off Road Premium was delivered to the dealership today, and I picked it up today, for whatever that is worth.

The original ETA was 5/21-25, then moved up to 5/16-21 on Tuesday night. Got a call today around 12 that I could come pick it up.

Interesting, I never had to go through a verification process when I did it. All it asked for was the VIN and it loaded right up. I'm still able to access the vehicle data and I'm not in possession yet. Picking it up this Saturday.

Did you have any issues with it connecting properly once you had the vehicle?

I was able to add mine yesterday after my vin changed from temporary to permanent VIN and then deleted it and
then re-added it haha. I am still quite far out (6/23-7/7) but I figured it would help me see when it hits the states - but will just delete it if it will cause any issue when he gets here with connections.

Try to remove it from your app now. I added my VIN a few weeks before delivery. When I was at the dealership to pick up, the sales person said “ok sign up for your Toyota account on the app, but DONT add the vehicle”. I frantically tried to remove the vehicle , which does not appear possible. When we got in the truck to set up, I don’t have any subscriptions available on my mobile app. The vehicle works fine, but now I don’t have remote start or anything else. Sucks.

are you saying it isn’t giving any trial period like it wants to you sign up for the paid subscription to use the remote start? Or is it not available at all?

yikes! Let me know if you figure it out. I’m assuming my car was just built last week - not even on way to port yet so hopefully I’ll be ok. Surprised the dealership hasn’t run into this before…

Just thought someone waiting on their order would appreciate some info.

Mine was just delivered today 5/7. Long Island. TRD ORP Hybrid. Came off the ship that arrived in Newark and had the original estimated delivery range of 4/26 - 5/16.

A few weeks ago, I added my 4Runner VIN in the Toyota app, and recently was able to see that the vehicle had some error codes that had to do with the safety sensors. (I assume they disable some features for transport purposes.) So if you're hellbent on trying to track your delivery and don't have access to the dealer tracking tool, and have already looked at the allocation spreadsheet, add your 4Runner to the Toyota app and keep an eye out for vehicle error codes that pop up. A day after I saw the safety error codes pop up, my dealership contacted me saying it was on the way.

Also, to give anyone an idea of how long it took from allocation to delivery:

-Allocation placed 2/14

-Build started 3/18

-Ship departed from Japan 3/25

-Ship landed in the US (East Coast) 4/23

-Delivered 5/7

Being in lower westchester, its nice to know they come in through newark. 2 weeks from port to pick-up is a nice timeline. Sales rep just told me today my vehicle finished build yesterday and is shipping out Friday

So it is a completely random QC hold that Toyota does. QC Hold on -05/15/2025-UNDER STUDY CHECK BACK EVERY FRIDAY AFTER 12PM. This is the exact wordage from Toyota. Update #37 so the JBL speakers are coming up missing.

Can someone help me with an estimated delivery date?

I am wondering if anything has changed from what the dealer told me back on May 7th - that the vehicle is in build phase with estimated availability 2025-06-08 - 2025-06-26.
