Message tone is SUPER loud

Been driving my SR5 almost a month now and realize when I use the Bluetooth feature instead of Android Auto, the tone for my message is SUPER loud. Loud enough to effing scare the shh out of me. I tried going through the Sound settings but it wouldn't let me adjust the volume for messages.

can you adjust the volume when a message is speaking ? I know on car play there is a separate volume , but only when its playing that
