Also keep in mind that for the LC250 Toyota could be using a different model inverter. This is not likely, but is possible.
Where's an O-Scope when you need one?!
True but I agree not likely, I'll test to see if it charges or not this weekend.

Ok, so I just reached out to Toyota customer care. In asking them this question they said that the inverter puts out "a modified sign wave, more similar to a square wave, which might not be compatible with all devices." So there you go, it's a square wave!

I can share my results too (video or whatever) and if I’m doing something dumb I’ll be the first to admit I’m a moron :)
Are you speaking about the Hybrid or non-Hybrid? I think that clarification will help with the thread, as some of the testing videos people of responded to are with the Hybrid, which as a 2,400 watt inverter, vs. the 400 watt of the non. Thanks!

I was speaking about the hybrid. I thought that that's what we were discussing.

Cool. I wasn't sure about the OP. Good to know on our Hyrbid's though! I have't had a chance to test mine out just yet.

I wonder how hard it would be to just change the inverter out with a better one? That would be interesting to investigate.

I’m referring to the non-hybrid fwiw, the 400W inverter :)
So I'm talking about the Hybrid and that's what's in the video, so that may be the difference. Also I watched another video that a guy used some sort of solar device between the 400w and the Ecoflow and it charged.

Just tested both my Tacoma and 4Runner both Hybrids with 2400w Inverter and they both charged my Ecoflow Delta pro perfectly @1700w plus. Since I think your issues were with the 400w the inverter must be a different type or something I'm not an inverter pro by any means. One thing I did notice is the Inverter must be under the center console as it's pretty loud.

Interesting, thanks for checking - I’ll test again tomorrow just to make sure I didn’t do something silly.

I confirmed again, the Ecoflow delta 2 at 40% charge and waiting 15 minutes with engine running doesn’t accept the 120V, likely because not pure sine wave (had this issues with generators and my home Ecoflow delta pro) but did work with Milwaukee charger.
