I agree the adapters are passive and Lectron gets good reviews. The biggest question is which adapter will satisfy our warranty. Saving a little money only to have Porsche void a warranty is not worth it to me. Where did you find the estimated price of the Porsche adapter?
That said, I have been...
Looks like we are on our way. I drove a Model S for 5 years all over the East coast. The Tesla network was always ready to go. Free or not, I will get the adapter. After all, it is a $90-135k car.
Fingers crossed this works. Living in
Please let us know if this works. Living in NC the roof feels like a furnace. Much hotter feeling than my Model S.
I also found this today
NACS to CCS DC Adapter
Part Number: 11A054411
Supersession(s): 11A-054-411
Fitment is for ID. Buzz and ID. 4.
it is listed as Not Currently Available.
Hopefully this means things are making progress with Tesla.
I know this is an old thread but I too get a strange behavior. I have Classical, Jazz, and Rock folders on my USB memory stick. I have also created random playlists of all my Rock folders and create 15 .m3u files. When playing one of these playlists I will get songs that are not in the .m3u...
I also thought of the battery and turned off the Battery Conservstion. My battery temperature is around 87 F, which I didn’t think was too hot. I will try turning off the AC the next time I will pull into a dirt parking lot.
I feel like the car is trying to become a hovercraft. The fans must point straight down. I guess I will have to turn off the AC until I leave the parking lot. My car gets coated in dust. Glad to know I am not the only one that has had this happen.
i live in NC and it is usually in the 80-90’s F this time of year. When I start the car the fans under the car are quite loud. When I drive in an unpaved parking lot I kick up huge amounts of dust. I have the Battery Conservation turned off in the My Porsche app. Is this just caused by just the...
Car does not know the speed limit. I had this pop up on my way home from my purchase. All ACC, LKA, ALK died. I also had a symbol to the left of it showing ACC was compromised. I reverted to a factory reset and reinitiated my account. Now I have the ACC warning at startup but it disappears...
That solves the problem. Two predefined views and one customized view. I was trying to figure out three customizable views. Thanks to everyone who figured this out.
I have only one small gremlin. When the car is started I get a yellow error light for the ACC on the dash. The first time I use the ACC the error light disappears and does not return during the trip when the ACC is toggled on and off depending on traffic conditions. The ACC seems to work fine...
I tried this one because I like the way it folds up. However, it is anything but a custom fit for a Macan EV. When I showed them the pictures of the fit in my Macan they refunded my purchase.
I know but the Tesla app allows you to add non-Tesla cars to their charging system. Until a car shows up in the Tesla app it will not charge at a Tesla SC.
Thanks. My “My Porsche” did not show What”s New. Waiting with fingers crossed for this to happen. I had 5 years with a Model S and long road trips with no worries about charging and range. My Macan 4 is a much better drive but I am anxiously waiting not to have to be anxious on long road trips. ?
How do you see What’s New on the app? My Tesla app still only accepts the Taycan when selecting a new car and that only supports Magic Dock chargers. Glad to see this progressing because EA and other superchargers are scarce outside Raleigh and Charlotte in NC. Plenty of Tesla SC’s.
You are correct that there are two buttons on the stalk and the lower one does toggle LKA. I was trying to toggle ALK with the stalk as is done in the Taycan software but the Macan is set up differently. Having to use both hands to toggle ALK is not something a Porsche driver would ever come up...
I also love ALK and keep LKA off. Freeway driving is boring and I allow ALK to handle the boring part of the drive. Off freeway the most help I want is ACC set at +10mph of the speed limit. Love how the Macan feels in Sport and Sport+. I just hate the ham-handed way to switch between ALK and...
So I tried this today. While coming off the interstate using ALK onto a 55 mph two lane road I had to take my left hand off the wheel, punch the end button on the stalk, put my left hand back on the wheel and then punch the icon on the PCM screen to turn off ALK with my right hand, put my right...
