  1. Porsche NACS DC Adapter Instructions (English) - PDF Attached

There's a few reports this week of people that found Plug & Charge working at Superchargers now. So I'd try just plugging in first and seeing if it automatically starts charging (make sure Plug&Charge is toggled on in your car's Charging tile). If that doesn't work, next simplest would be to...
  2. OTA update - WiFi or over cell connection?

Here's the list of stuff in the update. Very little of it looks particular useful, and almost none of the long list of things I was hoping it would cover. But better than nothing, I suppose...
  3. OTA update - WiFi or over cell connection?

I haven't even gotten that. Found out about the (dealer-applied) update here. Called the dealer to ask, he looked my car up, and said "yes, looks like yours is eligible for the update, plus 2 recalls". Not a peep from Porsche.
  4. [North America] - Supercharging a 2024 Macan Turbo EV (with Lectron adapter at Tesla Supercharger(

It certainly should, because it's being activated through the Porsche system, and being paid for by your Porsche wallet. It's not included in our free year of charging (that's only at EA stations (US)).
  5. 2 wrongs don't make a right, or why Lucid is no better: "Owning A Lucid Has Been Super Disappointing" (Engineering Explained)

I watched that this morning. Sounds familiar. Some of the same problems as our Macan. I'm a glutton for punishment. My Lucid Gravity shows up in a few weeks (replacing our mostly problem-free Mach-E). Been questioning my life choices lately. 😄
  6. MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Just called the dealer to ask if ours (purchased in June) was eligible for the update. It is. Plus 2 minor recalls (cargo compartment cover, seatbelt plastic slide). Never got any notice from Porsche, just heard about it here.
  7. MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Mine often sounds like it's blowing like crazy but it's rarely coming from the dash vents. It's inside somewhere, plus the 2nd row vents. Check your 2nd row vents to make sure they're turned off. Once I do that the tornado sound often goes away. Although sometimes I still get it even if the...
  8. MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

So for instance, if we're on a road trip 10 minutes from the next DCFC stop, and we're not using the car's nav (not sure if it automatically preconditions but some EVs do is using native nav), then we could kick it over to Sport+ if we wanted to warm up the battery for a potentially faster DCFC...
  9. MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Yeah, that's all I've noticed so far is some speculation that it seemed like there might have been an OTA (maybe), but I haven't seen any confirmation. Just wondered if I missed it.
  10. MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Someone in another thread said they got an OTA software update (surprised me, wondering if it's true). Has anyone gotten this (or any other update) via OTA, or just a dealership service call?
  11. Range changed after recent updates

An OTA actually happened? Wow. Was there a notification in the car or app? Somewhere to look and see if we got it?
  12. Range changed after recent updates

Updates? What updates? Did you take it to the dealer?
  13. What's the source of the heater?

At this price point, I would kinda hope a car would include both a heat pump and a resistive heater. Use resistive heat for fast changes (starting a cold car), then use the more efficient heat pump for maintaining a steady temp (that doesn't need as much "umph").
  14. What's the source of the heater?

For 100 grand we really shouldn't have to "compensate" though. That's the annoying part about it. The expectation is higher, but it's actually worse than many $35k cars (or $50k EVs).
  15. What's the source of the heater?

    When it works.
  16. What's the source of the heater?

Yeah, I'm not impressed with the Macan's climate system. It's much worse than our Mach-E's. Takes much longer to heat the car up. Then blows hard when I don't want it too (which is noisy as hell). Can't get the 2nd row climate controls to stay off each time we get in the car either. Always...
  17. Can't play audio from external bluetooth transmitter

Another update. I figured out a way around the "Headsets not available for the driver" message. We have the passenger screen in ours. I tried it there and (usually) don't get that message. (Although oddly, it still appeared a couple of times. Buggy-ass software.) But I still couldn't get...
  18. Can't play audio from external bluetooth transmitter

I don't think so. It's just a very basic BT transmitter that only does one thing... takes input from a 3.5mm jack and transmits it as a bluetooth signal. I know there are some that do both (transmit or receive), but this one is just a very basic single-function.
  19. Can't play audio from external bluetooth transmitter

I gave up. Going old school. Ordered a cheap FM transmitter to bypass bluetooth. Feels like 1985. Whatever works, I suppose. Everything else is pretty new school... Starlink Mini, Superbox for TV streaming, and portable monitor. We do a lot of 8-12 hour day road trips so live TV for the...
  20. Can't play audio from external bluetooth transmitter

I'm trying to play audio from an earphone jack on a separate device to the car's speakers. I connected a little (Taotronics) bluetooth transmitter to the device, and was able to pair it with the car as a new bluetooth device. However when I try to select it in the car's bluetooth device list...
