I see you have a Macan 4. The Bose is not the stock system. The stock system is a Porsche branded sound system with less speakers and less power. Bose is the upgraded system in all vehicles except the Macan turbo which gets the Bose as standard. Just in case there was confusion there.

Had the new software installed. Don’t notice any differences. No faults or issues yet. Just that I had to reprogram my garage opener.

I am tempted to ask for a buyback. My turbo has had 4 weeks of service in 5 months of ownership. It’s too much. I was looking at the G580 but apparently the range is very bad.

The same alert popped up for me after picking up my software updated Macan from the dealership, no message starting what the issue is. Haven’t stepped back in after power cycle to see if it’s gone.

Agree with this. it does tamper down city noise, cars swooshing by when you're waiting for a left turn, or loud engine vehicles driving next to you at lower speeds. Otherwise at highway speeds it's not a noticeable difference. The heat benefit I can get with cermic tint so not worried on that...

I didn’t notice this on my Macan turbo. But my Macan 4 loaner definitely has this specific wind noise. Both vehicles have the roof rails. May be a build quality issue.

Also have a lot of rattles from roof and doors. Roof was already adjusted once. It’s better but surprisingly noisy vehicle. My first German experience and not impressed coming from Lexus, Volvo, Tesla. Though better than my matchbox Rivian with rattles galore.

Why are these software updates so complicated. Coming from Tesla and Rivian and hearing lots of good things from BMWs current gen software this is really disappointing Porsche is using archaic models of programming and updating. Legacy auto needs to get their act together.
