Audi moved faster than Tesla because Audi was the first to develop a Tri Motor setup.
I also didn't know the 2 speed transmission for the J1 platform was developed by ZF
The only non EV Porsche that interests me is the GT3/GT3RS for the same reasons you mentioned.
NA, 9000 revs symphony is very appealing.
Dual clutch, forced induction is what pushed me to BEV.
A Lotus Exige with a GT3 power train would be a dream
On another note, when so many 1000+ HP EVs will be coming online in the future, what is the benefit of buying a Bugatti?
Eventually Ricmac will stick their propulsion system into the Bugatti anyway
You're very fortunate to have driven this.
The performance of the car it's incredible, but I don't like anything about the exterior/interior.
Very exciting automotive company. Rimacs benefit is the R&D that will trickle down into future Porsches EVs.
You make very good points that I agree with
I see Porsche as the R&D arm of VAG that recoups the cost by sharing with the rest of the family.
J1 being a small example by selling a piece to Audi for the E-Tron GT.
Sharing and scale is more important than ever

Will the brand be diluted?
IMO Ferrari going public diluted the brand.
VW confirms plan to list Porsche sports-car brand
The suspension is total garbage in the 3/Y. Not sure how anyone that has any understanding of automobiles or experience in a decent car can drive these and fall in love with Tesla.

The only good part of the 3/Y is the low dash and Porsche like...
Not to derail the conversation, but there are cultural difference in regions with cars. A large GMC Yukon with 15 cup holders is an American car, not so much for Switzerland.
There is a reason the VW ID3 is in the European market and not the US market. How can you can say cultural/regional...
I never said I didnt like the car. I actually do like it, especially the new headlights.
I do wish BMW would do a pure EV platform.
I have an understanding of the Chinese market from people I know in China that work with different OEMs and develop auto manufacturing factories.
The Chinese...
As a rule of thumb, big grills and heavy tech with captains chair rear seating is for China.
31" 8k theater screen is China
I really don't like the platform sharing architecture for all drive trains BMW is using
I agree and I really hope you're right. Let see what Rimac technology spills into the 718. I assume a good amount.
Yes it's chintzy. The P2 is that cheap price point car. The Polestar 1 is an incredible car, high quality, but $150k.
You sit in that car and its just built right.
That being...
