I saw this elsewhere, but until we see a vehicle with Turbonite roof rails Iām not convinced it actually results in getting shipped a vehicle that looks that way.
Thanks for the heads-up on this. Really funny color selection, especially on Turbo. But Iāll still be going through to see if any are specced how Iād like.
Assuming you mean Macan Turbo or updated Taycan Turbo š ā I'm still debating that myself.
They're almost certainly going to drive like very different vehicles. And my impression is that the cabin and luggage space will feel overall more usable in the Macan.
But if we're going to make checkbox...
Got it, yes, this makes sense since there's also a High Gloss Black option for Lower rear fascia trim in the configurator.
Neither the airblades nor lower rear fascia are listed in the "standard equipment" bit. The others from OP are.
There's an option to change the Airblades to be painted in High Gloss Black.
From @PorscheManiac 's analysis of photos it sounds like the front airblades are Turbonite as well.
Yeah I find it a little strange too.
According to US configurator, the Turbo takes the following to High Gloss Black:
Wheel arches
SportDesign side skirts
Exterior mirror lower trim and base
Other changes from silver tones to black:
Rear Porsche logo in Satin Black
Door sill guards in Black...
Does that Provence one have both roof rails and window trim in Turbonite? US configurator only offers roof rails in black or silver, which deletes turbonite window trim :/
I spent some time googling around for whatever discussion I could find of Turbonite, and it seems it can be executed in either glossy or matte. So it's a shame Porsche doesn't seem to specify in the configurator.
If you're going for Turbo, keep in mind the other color option for the side blades is Turbonite. But I don't think we yet know whether the Turbonite side blades are more glossy-finish or matte.
