Mine does exactly the same thing. I (maybe mistakenly) assumed it was because every time I pull into my garage the front parking/proximity sensors go off and that warning light stays on even when I get into the vehicle the next day but seems to clear after a few miles of driving.

I ended up buying another sliding clamp for the driver side just like the one on the passenger side from my local Porsche dealership . It was a little over $4.00 but well worth it even though I can’t believe the car wasn’t shipped with one on each side.. 🤷‍♂️

I was told my order would lock on 9/1. Communication with the dealer is basically one way, meaning if I don't reach out I hear nothing, so I can only assume that's the date it locked.

Identical situation for me. Placed my 4S order right after it was announced and after I received confirmation from the dealer that I could switch. Vehicle is built, I have a VIN, and was told it should be at the dealership on 11/15 (NH). Can't wait!

I will not be taking delivery at a PEC but did the Macan EV experience today at PECATL. Highly recommend it for those who have not seen the vehicles yet or driven in them. Shout out to my host Rick who was kind enough to take me out in both a Macan 4 and Turbo and push them both to the limit...
