Is there a way to have the navigation map in the Macan (or if not, plug share) able to show nacs slow charging stations and route to them? Not a huge value to get the charger and not know where such chargers exist. Sure, I can turn on nacs (at least in plug share) but u can't seem to...
Realized, I was seeing to that it shows a little Regen if u have Regen on and are coasting...that is what I saw. When brake applied it does not change the amount of Regen I do guess I am still in the break in period
My biggest pet peeve so far is the left-most circle in the main display. I mean, really now: choose between tire inflation, g forces, traffic sign ID, and a big battery icon/indicator? Ugh. None are super useful. Meanwhile, the right-most has mostly important/high value stuff...nav, trip...
Just finally had to drive into work since getting my Macan 4 on Friday. Left earlyish (6:15 am) which allowed me to try out acceleration from say 50 to 70 and such...way, way better than expected. Cant imagine wanting more (yes, with the Macan 4 I do wish for a little more umph from 0 - 25...
Update...took delivery yesterday! Was end of day, really don't have much than initial impressions:
1. Standard interior: Having once owned a VW EOS whose synthetic interior was downright vinyl (used to drive with TWO towels under me in the summer to curb the sweats!) I am very happy with the...
For what it is worth...follow up to my earlier posts...went to get the car yesterday...was a great, flawless experience. But again my SA is the best i have ever had.
I will say for the record...so I am, on the side, a semi-professional musician and buy a lot of gear from a place called Sweetwater. You buy something they give you a personal phone call every time. Put a bag of candies and stickers in every purchase. Have an online system that is super good...
Was going to post last night and didnt have time...agree with all that has been said...in the end car companies are 90% all the same and 10% different. And, I wanted to post elsewhere to someone who was frustrated at lack of communication that, it is the norm in all in that managing comms do...
Just to give a counterfactual (apologies did post this elsewhere): Car got to Baltimore by boat. Sat two days at port in Baltimore, then got on a truck. Was on truck for two days to dealer in Chicago. Dealer updated all software and got car prepped in 2 days. 6 days total. Ready today...
I'd love to find a good aftermarket tinting that is known to have really good acoustic properties...almost want that more than the tinting doing some actual tinting! But I cant seem to find anything like that. Sounds like most impact is with sandwiching the material rather than having it on...
Very much sympathetic to those whose cars are sitting at port or the dealership! I must be lucky: I did experience a 3 week delay because the boat (Amethyst Ace) that my car was supposed to be shipped on broke down...ultimately they put it on a different ship (Future Way). But...the car then...
I was researching whether window tinting reduces noise as an alternative. I ended up finding a site (https://www.s-lecfilm.com/en/sound-auto/) that does acoustically laminated glass...heck maybe they supply to Porsche! Anyway, they say their tests reduce overall car noise by 3.7%. Take that...
Scheduled to pick up my Macan 4 at the dealer tomorrow (Software updates willing fingers crossed!). I know I know, there are people here that really dislike adding black trim, they like their cars monotone. And that is fine. that is not me...I picked gloss black everywhere I could. Pic from...
Noting too I basically got this for the 360 view...have had this on my 2017 Pathfinder and it's THE BEST. Totally worth it even if u don't have the car self-park
