This bulletin shows their approach to such problems.
"In the event of a customer complaint" tell it's by design and perhaps the customer will go away.
"In the event of customer escalation" admit OK there is a way to fix it.
They call it "subjectively unpleasant function" so as not to admit...
I compared the loaner without this option to my car with this option and honestly there is not much difference. I would even go as far as to say the steering precision was a bit better without this option.
I think a lot of people overthink this.
This is especially true in winter as there is no better way to calculate when to charge, how to charge, how to preheat etc than using the route planner. You simply cannot do it on your own and take into account things like elevation change with sudden...
This is my observation as well and for me it was surprising.
There is another thread where I compared it to Taycan and some comments suggested Turbo is a must have for fun driving. I disagree, one you option air suspension, put optional PTV and rear-axe there is no difference to me other that...
This happens EACH TIME my car is at the shop for whatever reason - hundreds or errors in the log.
"Don't worry, this happens with every Macan" I was told ;) (seriously)
So I would check this - there is a separate thread abut this problem.
Some cars keep the SoC and some cars loose the charge up to 1% daily which is not normal.
I would try to document this and have it checked.
What I noticed is that during summer you can arrive at the charger with 5% no problem.
During winter I rarely go below 25%, below 20% the range calculator becomes unpredictable and with 15% in cold weather and harsh conditions you can get 10km so you'd better find a charger.
So yes, during...
For me avg 123 km/h on highway means you are mostly doing 140km/h.
This was in +5C outside temp.
I very much doubt claims of anything below 30kw during longer stretches of high speed driving in winter. You can - under some circumstances - get "120km/h in 3C outside he is getting around 26.9...
Yeah I suspect that much :)
I was set to replace my Macan with Taycan and at the last moment before order I decided to wait for the GTS to give it a try as I suspect it can be best of both worlds. I'm very curious how this suspension setup changes how this car behaves, I've not had any...
It's not poor, I would say it's standard.
I usually get way above 30kw given similar conditions (21" wheels, 140km/h in winter), never ever below 30kw unless the avg speed is significantly below 100 km/h.
What's interesting is I get very similar results in Taycan which should be more efficient...
I noticed 4G/5G availability depends on the country - as an example it works in DE czy CZ where I went skiing this December and it does not work in PL and AT at least in my case.
Yeah it shows what we discussed here that it's unbelievable how bad Porsche’s service seems to be lately and it...
I think this data tells us a lot about where this company is heading.
Overall deliveries fell 10% with some models (Taycan) and some markets (China) dropped by 20-30%. It's the steepest annual decline in about 16 years and it shows Porsche is rapidly loosing ground.
Weak China demand is an...
I asked about this and my PC service guy told me not all of these bulletins and instructions are global - for example, a lot of them are for North American market and when they ask Porsche about it, they claim this does not affect our region/market (which they suspect is not the case but cannot...
This! It's so on point! I see you better understand the frustration of some people here, which IN MOST CASES comes down to absurd client relations with local service departments.
By now I'm convinced they create more problems than actual issues with cars. Unqualified repair shops add to...
Thanks, seems like this issue with one exception - mine did not appear from passenger compartment but I guess it's hard to tell.
Too bad there is no such bulletin for the suspension cracking sounds when driving over speed bumps, I could use one ;)
