It can be disabled in the settings. You must disable the setting that allows for the rear trunk access with the foot swipe and the automatic door unlocking when you approach the car.

On my Macan 4 the mirrors have lights that illuminate when the doors are unlocked. I did not opt for the upgrade so the puddle lights (the lights that are located in the door on the interior bottom) are plain. The upgrade would have the wording of the model.

I also had issues. I found that bringing my car into the garage did the trick. I used the remote opener and held it up to the mirror.

Because of the excellent range of the EV I seldom charge over 70%. So I know that it is capable of regen.

I received the car on November 21. All is well. I took it on a 600 mile round trip from Nj to VA. And it worked perfectly. The dealer knew I had the trip and worked overtime to ensure that I had it back.
