I have a fully spec’ed 2024 Turbo since November and it has worked flawlessly since the moment I got it. Range is a little less than I hoped for, but it’s really fun to drive - would say it’s a more comfy version of my 911 992.1 Carrera S I had prior to it.
I took delivery of the first one in the UAE 2 months ago, out of a batch of 3. Have still to see any other. Someone in my neighborhood says he’s taking delivery of a 4S in the next few weeks…
These are a more realistic representation of how it looks. It’s extremely difficult to take a picture how blackberry/bramble looks like. One thing is that it looks amazing in real…
Hi, thanks ;)
They did not remove the emblem, they use full laser pre-cut pieces. Their quality is amazing - even the Porsche dealership is in awe.
Here are some zoom-up pictures. It’s almost impossible to see, but I can feel that the PPF is tucked in the little gap between the emblem and...
I did testing last week of measuring consumption at several speeds. It is artificial as it was driving fixed speeds on a straight/flat empty road without any braking/accelerations.

I paid the equivalent of 4900 USD/4600 EUR, which included:
- full PPF (Profilm Ultra Pro Clear)
- full window tinting: 30% on windows, 50% on sunroof (Profilm Skincare)
- transparent window film on windshield (for UV protection)
- ceramic coating on top of PPF (GTechniq Halo)
- Ceramic coating...
About regen kicking in after 2000 miles - my regen was active from day 1/the moment I left the dealership. I can clearly see the average consumption dropping immediately when I push the brake.
My understanding of NMC811 battery chemistry is that the optimal charging temperature is around the low-30degCs. That is also what is indicated on the gauge. This has to do with longevity of the battery.
Ideal battery temperature? - EVcreate
In a recent Out of Spec podcast, apparently the...
As others say, things can move forward or backward - but it is unlikely to shift more than a month forward - usually Porsche allocates slots per month so it looks like you are in the February 2025 production allocation. This might move forward to January, but unlikely to December (considering...
Few suggestions:
- there are pictures of the green leather elsewhere on this forum. It looks different than in the configurator. The Romans already knew not to dispute about colors and tastes, but might be worthwhile to reconsider especially since you go black all the way on anything else...
So, I did more normal highway driving. 40km at an average of 135km/h. Max speed 140km/h, I just let ACC manage following the traffic flow. Consumption indicated on my dashboard was 23.2kWh/100km. So as expected, regen is making the car much more efficient.
I am commuting 75km one way each day. I will take the other highway home today (which is much more busy) - max speed 140km/h but there will be frequent braking and acceleration (usually between 120-140km/h) as per the traffic flow. I am sure consumption will be lower as regen is quite...
I did check just now at 140km/h and the numbers seem correct. So it seems the curve is quite linear between 100-140km/h, with tailing off below that and going exponential at higher speeds.
I will revalidate the 140km/h data again tomorrow (it is on a different road, but over longer distance (about 40km one way). I assume at lower speeds resistance of the wheels on the asphalt is dominant while at higher speeds wind will become dominant?
So, I had too much time on my hands and I decided to to some "structured testing" on this. I already had collated data from a few road trips where I could drive uninterrupted on flat area (there is always a minimal amount of up and down) on highways for 10's of kilometers at 140km/h and...
