I'd be curious to know, among respondents who selected 'Glad not to have it...' in the poll, what percentage previously owned an electric vehicle (EV) with one-pedal driving capabilities. I've had EVs before with it and I do miss it, but have completely adjusted to Porsche's way of doing EVs...

On a tangential note, I primarily listen to music via the USB infotainment center function in my car, with flac files on an SSD.  Question: if I plugged my Sony DAP into the car, instead, would there be a noticeable difference in sound quality?

Also, if you are on shuffle, that has to be turned off then on again, otherwise it only shuffles the set of tunes it previously played.

Is this what the big "software update" reversed?

I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this. I took delivery of my Macan 4 EV in early November, though it was delayed several days for "mandatory software updates." (This was a lot vehicle, not a custom order.) At some point, I realized I hadn't received any communication from Porsche...

Wow -- this looks nice. I love the anti-glare more for the fingerprint improvement even more than reflections. I elected not to do PPF (leased vehicle)....but I'd definitely pay for this.

I got the VisorTuck and it works great, FWIW. It hides largely invisibly under the visor when you don't need it. Sad you need this in a $100,000 car...

On a side note, I'll never buy a Tesla again. Elon is a lunatic.

I had two Teslas and the OTA updates were frequent and amazing. (I remember once many people were complaining that the font size for the outside temperature was too small -- BOOM! was fixed). Since then I've had a Jaguar EV, a Cadillac EV and a Genesis EV, all of which promised OTA updates...

Is there any alternative to the built-in external USB music player? I have looked through the scantily-populated Android Automotive Play Store but did not see anything. I was hoping there might be a better player than the one that comes with the car, which is bare-bones basic and frustrating.
