I think ultimately what Trump wants is European manufacturers investing in production facilities in the US to create jobs. I read Germany export 400,000 cars to the US each year.
The current tariff of German cars into the US is 2.5% compared to 10% on American made cars into the EU. As a result of Trump's victory BMW shares fell by 6.6%, Mercedes-Benz by 6.4%, Porsche by 4.9% and Volkswagen by 4.3%. On the flip side Tesla shared surged 13%.
I watched a YouTube review recently on the Turbo and the car had papaya
orange calipers to match the bodywork. I can’t recall seeing this option in the configurator.
SA here mentioned something about an invite to Silverstone to ride around some track (Not F1 circuit) 😂 to learn all about getting the best driving experience from the Macan EV. Is This something you receive after delivery?
I read this week that following Donald Trumps election victory that one of his plans is to increase import duty on non American made cars. This must be a major concern for European manufacturers. I guess those people with vehicle orders before the new government are going to pay much less than...
I’m having the Macan without the rear model badge but keeping the Electric one on the side. Wasn’t overly fussed either way but thought the Porsche letting would be more of a focal point and wouldn’t conflict with another badge.
I received an email from Porsche Connect Support Great Britain. This was the content of the email as shown below. From this I created my Porsche ID, downloaded the app and everything about my order was shown in the app.
I recently received my Porsche ID registration by email allowing me to access all the information about my order on the My Porsche app. I must say I was very impressed that it showed an image of the car in the exact colour and alloy wheels I'd chosen plus a list of all the optional extra's I'd...
To be truthful I was skeptical about this but our fleet manager decided to go with the Porsche
dashcam and tracker to alleviate any possible warranty issues/arguments going forward.
I've had a Jaguar IPace for the past 4 years and I'm getting a Macan 4 in January. The Jaguar app connection barely ever works and I'm wondering if it's a general issue with car manufacturers.
I'm getting my Macan 4 in January and the company I work for usually get the dashcams and trackers fitted separately because it's generally much cheaper. However the Porsche SA here in the UK advised that this would invalidate the warranty on the vehicle.
