i always use P&C at all Ionity and Porsche Chargers. Always just plug it in and On my last trip at 0 degrees I had a charging stop, arrived at 15%, battery was nicely heated and it charged with 270kw. So it can definitely work flawlessly.

For most home chargers there shouldn’t be a need for one. You would also need an ability to add the cert to the charger.

You use Plug and Charge to authenticate to a home charged? I was always wondering if that works. Do you need a separate certificate?
