Hi
I just had the opportunity to drive the maximum speed of my 4S for the first time in Germany on the Autobahn.
I was positively surprised, it handled extremely well and kept the lane like on rails at 240 kmh.
Just an amazing vehicle with a great suspension. I did keep it in Sports mode as...
I agree with the previous post. Have you considered upgrading to a 4S or GTS? For that price you can even get a Turbo which comes with more options by default (also partially applies to 4S and GTS). I hate to talk about resale value when buying a car but this will have an epic depreciation...
I also dont understand the fuzz. I just drive and use the Porsche Navigation. When it tells me to charge I charge or replan using the app (if other stops are more concenient or I want to force certain chargers).
Apart from that I dont care about temperature or anything, I just trust the car to...
i always use P&C at all Ionity and Porsche Chargers. Always just plug it in and
On my last trip at 0 degrees I had a charging stop, arrived at 15%, battery was nicely heated and it charged with 270kw. So it can definitely work flawlessly.
I initially specced without Bose to get the Trunk space and then last-minute changed it to Bose.
I don't regret it. The underfloor storage isn't useful anyway and you can still fit tiny items with the Bose (umbrella, first-aid kit).
The Bose system grew on me a bit. While initially I wasn't too...
I think vanjilsen has a point though. We exaggerate a little bit how bad the Software is. Yes it isnt great and not worth the price tag but we shouldnt forget how bad car Software used to be - before Tesla set the benchmark.
We also keep mentioning BMW. But BMW is the exception rather than the...
Well, there is not really much point in heating the battery, even when connected to a DC charger. Most of the time it would just be a waste of energy. Why would you even want that? The battery would probably just cool down while driving anyway - so requiring more energy to keep it at 25%
The...
You use Plug and Charge to authenticate to a home charged? I was always wondering if that works. Do you need a separate certificate?
I have also a charging station at home that requires NFC or App authentication. Would be great to replace that with P&C. Apparently it is in the works for my charger.
@jwatte you should quote my full sentence and not put it out of perspective " If they do not offer some sort of apology (free service package, free winter wheels, something else) I would start involving my lawyer ".
Not sure how you usually deal with this in America but here in Europe it's...
Well, to be fair the combustion engine X3 was also light years ahead of the ICE Macan in tech. Tech is not why people are buying a Porsche. And for me, while I like to complain here, what matters is the driving dynamics. And I'm quite sure the Macan will beat the iX3 hands-down. I was never a...
I agree, it is embarrasing.
I absolutely enjoy the car and driving is a pleasure but the update process is abysmal.
I am also coming from BMW and even my almost 6 year old 1 series has a better update process, let alone Apples Car Key from the very start.
I really hope they at least give us...
The problem is not comparing similar performance cars - the main problem is the lack of entry level. Some people do not care about performance and for them any entry level Porsche will do.
Well, if you select the battery widget on the left tube it should show a 'Max.' number that indicates currently possible max charging speed.
The car seems to be in exterior colour so you definitely have an updated software over all MY 2024/2025 owners.
@CHP I know. I use the App most of the...
