Interesting, reading this forum and others. Thereās a world of good an update(s) could seemingly potentially do. Will be interesting to see the cadence at which they start to get pushed out, if they do.
Am I right in thinking that the Macan is capable of OTA updates? If so, have any been pushed down as yet?
Iāve not had my 4S long, but was wondering if anyone who has had one for longer had seen any evidence of an update yet.
Definitely agree, really handy when you arrive on low chargeā¦ especially as the whole house benefits from the low rate too.
Iāve asked the question if I can reconnect again or whether anything else needs to happen first.
Iāve still got that problem. But my app was completely broken, no remote services, incorrect SoC, location etc.
Porsche are emailing me back and forth at the moment though so will ask about the images.
My issues are FINALLY āresolvedā. Turns out itās something to do with the Octopus Energy smart charging connection.
I deleted the connection in the Octopus app and then the Porsche app all came back to life.
So whilst the Porsche app resolved, I can no longer smart charge at homeā¦
I stayed with the standard speakers as donāt consider myself an audiophile by any stretch. Was worried coming from a Tesla, but Iāve been pleasantly surprisedā¦ perhaps having so little expectation has helped!
Itās not fixed for me, but I am away from the car at the moment. So maybe when I get back on a direct connection/take it for a drive it may come back to life.
Ive at least got the appointment booked on my return should I need it.
Got it. I canāt precondition the car at the moment, but I canāt do anything else either. Was all working fine but just stopped working last Thursday. Car still things itās where we briefly stopped.
Iāve been reporting the app issue and Iām booked in at the dealership. So will see what that brings.
I think thereās a few issues going on. Something definitely wiped out app connectivity for a group of users at a similar time, would be strange for this to be a hardware issue.
9th for me, Iām not sure itās an issue an appointment will fix. Seems to be a widespread connectivity issue.
Does make you wonder what the poor salesmen are having to say at handover at the moment.
Hopefullyā¦ might make them fix the app! Mines been down since Thursday now (at least thatās when I was last at the location it still says my car is it)
Yeah this is one of the reasons Iāve switched back to CarPlay for day to day use after giving the PCM apps a go.
Will still use the PCM for longer journeys until EV routing is switched on for the Macan in Apple Maps.
