Youāre completely right with all of this, even without the brake dust complication, I live in an area full of muddy roads.
I definitely wouldnāt get full black wheels on a black car either. Iāve been there and done that and appreciate a bit of chrome/silver diamond cut on the wheels nowadays...
The black looks great against the grey. I think Iād stick with the chrome against black. Also seeing those red callipers pop through is exactly what Iām trying to achieve.
My Macan GTS was my stealth car! I do wish theyād do similar to the old Turbo style wheels from the ICE model for the EV...
Wow they do look good, thanks for sharing, as you donāt see many real life pics with these wheels on.
Have you had your plastic trim painted? Or is that an option you can select now?
Itās good to know that the ride quality is still there on the 22ās. As I have air suspension as well.
Though I assumed this might be the case as the side wall on the 21ās is by no means tall either. They do fill the arches nicely, especially when in the ālowā setting, looks wise for me this is...
Iāve always been torn between the 21ā Macan design wheels and the 22ā RS wheels. I plumped for the 21ā in the end and still love the look of them in the spec I have, a year after taking ownership.
I opted for the 21ās as I feel they suit the modern design of the car better than the RS wheels...
Spent a lot of time in two Macan EVs, one with and one without Bose. As we pool scheme cars often at work, I can honestly say thereās not that much difference. The default speakers are very good. Bose made a difference in ICE Macans and certainly does on the Taycan.
Nothing has ever come close...
I didnāt mean that sorry, when the car should be āpausedā according to the IOG schedule, it just doesnāt pause. So carries on charging into periods that will be at full rate. Iāve seen it happen too many times to have faith it in pausing when itās meant to
Itās no help at all, but Iāve just turned smart charging off as IOG is so buggy with the Macan. Far too many occasions where it would be charging outside of the IOG schedule. All charging now done between 11.30 and 5.30
My 25 Macan has told me a couple of times itās detected signs of tiredness and doesnāt have this. Iām wondering if its purely just based off time on the 25 models and not as intelligent as the warning message makes out.
My 2025 4S has been into the AD for a couple of software recalls in the last month and also had a new thing fitted to the seatbelt to stop the rattle. Surprisingly I also needed a new parcel shelf, according to another recall!
As well as the above they also fitted a new charging port cover, no...
Exactly this, I already find Iām repeating information on just two screens. Never mind having the HUD as well.
Iāve had HUD in previous cars, but donāt miss it at all.
Iām hoping someone finds a way to enable the matrix lights. It was possible in the ICE Macan.
Iāve had a Porsche specialist offer to try, but theyād want my car for a full day. Potentially charge a chunk of money in labour costs and they canāt guarantee success.
This is in line with my experience, if I set the level and then leave in Normal it stays there indefinitely. If I change modes and go back to normal, I have to do the level again.
Does anyone else have an issue with the Nav volume being much quieter on Apple Maps? I turn it up, but then it makes the Porsche Navās announcements about traffic etc. extremely loud and you canāt turn those off.
If Apple Maps EV routing ever integrates, like it has in the Taycan then itās all I would ever use.
For now, I use Apple Maps day to day and the Porsche Nav for longer journeys
