The app message seems to change if you have a departure time set.
I intentionally played with the SoC limit to trigger it to charge and now to bleed a little energy on climate prep for a planned departure. The messages in the app differ from "charger not connected".
porsche app v15.25.18 build 403
I've noticed that once the car has charged to its SoC limit that the sometimes reports "Charger not connected" even though my EVSE just reports charging as suspended by the EV. Nothing else weird yet with this, but the messaging does seem inconsistent and...
I was hurrying to the airport in the USA when I think I saw something today that was unexpected: a Macan EV at a Tesla Supercharger that doesn't have magic docks.
We're a few days away from June. Is this a car testing the waters or just someone hopelessly lost? Do we have an exciting update...
If anyone bought a USA delivered car without Matrix headlights .... bravo! I have always questioned whether they were worth even a penny over the stock headlights.
I understand how you arrive here because I've been considering it for 2 to 3 months. I also understand why the 90 yr old original buyer of the white car decided to buy another, as I have a white car and keeping it clean requires twice weekly washing.
I've been trying to hold out because I...
My car originally came without a luggage shelf and I made a mental note to build an inventory list of all of the removable parts (shelf, tools, etc.) to check upon pickup. This actually accomplishes two things: (1) it makes certain you have them all and (2) it shows you how to access all of the...
In case you're interested in a $110 Macan EV luggage net, which is currently out of stock for my dealer, a 2013 Audi A4/S4/RS4 cargo net fits perfectly and I bought one in like new condition for $3.

To reiterate, my Macan 4 EV will not take a command through the PCM or the app to set the charge limit below 50%. I'm wondering if others have the same experience.
I will leave the car plugged into a Level 2 charger while I'm away from it, as Porsche recommends. But I would set the charge limit...
40% or 50% ... it doesn't really matter. I'm trying to figure out if I lost functionality or I never had it.
I selected 40% because the car is currently at 44% and I didn't want it to waste electricity charging it.
I'm trying to persuade my 2024 Macan 4 EV to set its max state of charge to 40% or 45% while I am away from it (and it is plugged into a Level 2 charger), but the phone app and the car's PCM display won't let me set the max charge lower than 50%. I could have sworn this worked before. Does...
I'm not trying to be a jerk when I say that it sounds kind of reasonable. I would have guessed at least $10k. Installation of an EVSE at my house was $2k because of the cable run *across the garage*.
I think I would do it if I owned the condo.
I've noticed my 12v battery typically sits at 14.4v while the car is running and 13.4v when I first turn it on. I just thought it was interesting that it seems to sit at the high end of the range for a quality 12v car battery. I wrote a note about it and figured I would share it here.
When you park the car, before you press the power button (if you do that), the middle screen has a slider that allows you to keep the car AC on when you exit. You must lock the doors manually after you leave the car. This is covered in the manual.
I don't know enough about what actually happened, but (to me) it looks like a typical startup that had aggressive goals, failed to meet them, and will get recapitalized with new management and new investors. Possibly organized into another company to get the customers rolling.
Porsche selected...
