There’s another thread on this topic related to “child lock malfunction “. I had the same problem at delivery. They ended up replacing the locks. Another member solved it by turning the plastic child lock on the side of the door (it has to be open to see it). There’s a picture of it and a...
The position of the display moves in concert with the steering wheel and the directions you are following. This is the dynamic part. You can adjust the brightness and the vertical positioning in the settings for the HUD. I moved it lower and lowered the brightness - the latter to avoid seeing...
I have this color with truffle brown interior. I get a lot of compliments. It looks different (green to grey) depending on the light. Happy I chose it.
Well if there’s anyone out there who actually believes that tariffs are a tax on the foreign government, and not a tax on the US consumer, all they have to do is read this thread 🤷‍♂️
I have this Thule set and it works fine and is easy to install. I already had the cross bar so it was just a matter of ordering new feet for the Macan. I also have the Thule 3 bike tow hitch cycle carrier and it's easy to install and seems very solid.
I agree completely. I’m very happy to have them on my 4. I think that most of the experience of a car is from the inside, so it’s best to spend the money on handling and the look and feel of the car when you’re in it. So I spent nothing on the outside (i have the standard wheels which are...
I have the base sound system on my 4 and am very happy with it (also the extra room in the trunk). The bass is more punchy than I expected. I haven’t heard the other ones so can’t judge how much better they are.
I bought winter tires at a local tire shop (the Pirelli Winter 2s made for the Macan). They mounted them on my existing rims and will keep the original summer tires at their location for free. In April I’ll do a swap in reverse and they’ll keep the winter tires until I need them. The tire swap...
Even without comfort entry the driver seat moves back when you open the door to make it easier to get in. I was surprised by this as I thought you’d need to have comfort entry for this feature. I don’t mind pressing the key to lock and unlock and on my last car (Audi A7) I found comfort entry...
I didn’t option comfort entry on my 4 but it works the same way. I unlock with the key as I approach and as soon as I sit in the driver seat the car turns on (sensor in the driver seat i guess). When I leave the car turns off as soon as the driver’s door is shut.
I have a Macan 4 with the 20” wheels and they look and ride just fine. Wanted the efficiency and ride quality of the 20”s and spent most of my options on the inside
Another weird thing for me is that when I’ve turned my front wheels at the maximum, it doesn’t appear that the rear wheels have turned at all. Even though my purchase order indicates RWS and I paid for it. Could this be a software problem or could Porsche have mistakenly built the car without...
I have a Macan 4 with RWS and can’t figure out how it works when backing up. Opposite the front wheels like at low speed in drive? Anyone know?
Thanks!
You are absolutely right when you say that the European spec is different from the American. My understanding is that the US Department of transportation will not allow full matrix capability in the US (how dumb is that?) so it is disabled in US versions. I think this is all just done through...
