I noticed the same exact thing after I did the major update. Chime much less loud and less annoying.
  2. Scratched my car. Oouf! Advice needed

I have to back down a narrow driveway which has a turn in the middle. The sensors are beeping the whole way
  3. Scratched my car. Oouf! Advice needed

Backing down my narrow driveway I managed to scrape the wall. I’m hoping you guys might have some thoughts on the best way to repair it. Is this complicated? Should I take it to a shop? Will this be an expensive fix? Any ideas welcome!
  4. [Trip Report] - A Vacation quality drive - California Hwy 1 in Spring of 2026

Thanks for the lovely description of your trip. I know this route well and we always stopped at Napenthe in Big Sur for the lunch and the view.
  5. Software update. What shall I do?

I also have a flawless Macan 4 purchased in January 2025. I just did the update and it is still flawless
  6. 2,5k km road trip from PL to NO

Thanks for sharing your story. I agree that it’s a great car for long trips where there’s a good charging infrastructure. So far we’ve traveled mostly in France (great infrastructure), Spain (less great), Switzerland (great) and Italy (less great). I had the same issue on the ferry. First make...
  7. Tire usage

If you stray from the Porsche recommended tires (code: NEO), make sure your tires are the XL (extra load) version as they are suited for heavy cars (EV’s in general)
  8. Best tyres for wear (comp)

I have 24k km on my Macan 4 original 20” Bridgestone Potenza summer tires. Some of these kms were on winter tires (probably 4k). Still have about 50% left
  9. Leaving keyfob in frunk

I wouldn’t for the following reasons: 1. The further the distance for a connection the faster the battery will drain (same for cell phones). 2. imagine it loses the connection (drained battery?), not only can’t you use the car, but you also can’t open the frunk to get your key to change the...
  10. Comfort Vs Sports seats

Ive been driving over a year in the 14 way comfort seats and find them super comfortable making long trips easy. My wife and kids agree that these are great seats and much more comfortable than our old Audi A7
  11. Thule Roofbox experiences & compatibility

I transferred the Wingbar Evo from my previous car after buying the correct feet for the Macan. I compared the Porsche roof box with a similar size Thule (430l) and ended up getting the Porsche as it was cheaper. I need all the space for snowboards and skis and have been very happy with it so...
  12. Key fob icons wearing off after only 1 year

Thanks to all for the comments. I decided to protect it with this: https://amzn.eu/d/5uWco1r
  13. Key fob icons wearing off after only 1 year

Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on a solution as I imagine they’ll wear completely off during the next year?
  14. [Thoughts] - Macan 4 Loaner vs. Macan Turbo EV (owned)

Thanks for the detailed overview. I have a 4 with full leather and am very happy with it. Your review makes me feel good about my choice.
  15. 2025 Macan EV Production & Sales Numbers (and more model level info)

After a year of driving in the south of France I’ve probably seen less than 10 Macan EV’s. The most common Porsche around here is the Cayenne Hybrid
  16. Did anyone option the air filtration system? Opinions?

I had a similar system in my previous car, an Audi A7. I found that when I used the ionizer I would end up with a fine coat of dust all over the dash so I stopped using it. For this reason I didn’t option it on my 4
  17. Impact of cruising speed on range

I agree completely with what you say here. In the a year of driving my Macon, I’ve discovered that charging speed is as or more important than range. I’ve been driving throughout Europe and rarely will want to be at the wheel for more than three hours at a time, so we always stop and take a...
  18. European Matrix Lights: some thoughts

Coming from my previous car, an Audi A7 with matrix lights, I am so far disappointed in the matrix lights in the Macan 4. They only become active at 60km, and I’ve found myself on small country roads needing them at speeds well below this. They also seem less sophisticated than the Audi version...
