Porsche will always have the speedometer on the left side. The center is reserved for the tachometer, which of course does not exist in an EV. But the logic is, in racing the tachometer is more important to see than the speedometer. Same reason the ignition is on the left side. All about racing...
When using the navigation and cruise control, this little triangle sometimes is on the display, and it moves up and down the speedometer.
In this picture it is right about the 75 MPH.
I just returned from Tampa, FL to Jacksonville, NC and back. Charging was faster than expected, but did have to wait at times for charger (looking at you Chevy Bolt charging to 100%🤬)
I noticed on my navigation screen a blue circle kind of thing, and have not been able to figure it out. Any ideas?
When I purchased my Macan EV, my wife drove the ICE version and liked it so much we ordered one (at the German port now - Tariffs?). She will be trading in her Lexus.
I’m not ready to be all EV yet because we drive from Florida to Texas sometimes, and the extra charging time does start to add up.
You were able to charge at a Tesla charger? I assume it had the magic dock? I have a Tesla adapter from my previous vehicle, but was told Porsche wasn’t authorized yet.
I don’t know about the Macan yet, but I previously had a Ford Lightning EV that was all black. Here in Florida it gets really hot, and I never had any issues. Running AC at full power didn’t really effect range, and I find the Macan is more efficient.
Has anyone used the Magic Box (or other version) with their Macan. The car already has wireless CarPlay (obviously), but I would love to stream things while charging.
I have no complaints at all. In my daily driving, almost all city, the range is better than what Porsche advertised. Much better than my Lightning which said I would get 320 miles and usually got about 280
Bought it February 1st. Base model on 20” tires. This includes a lot of sitting in the driveway playing with things and figuring it out. I have been pleasantly surprised how accurate the range is.
