Fyi some folks had an issue after the software update where the car thought the mirrors were folded when they weren't. That made some of the collision alert system not work, e.g. no door light warning for changing lanes.

The iPhone I tried with had a separate issue. A different iPhone still works, so this really points to a problem with the Google Maps update.

Same issue here with a macan 4, can't get either Google Maps or Apple maps to show in the HUD. It used to work fine. It also happened a day after we did the latest software update at the dealership, maybe just bad timing.
