knew it was coming but it hadnāt been properly announced when I was looking at options last May/June. Not too keen on the interior (more the materials) and that bluff noseā¦. Plus I had to get out of my old car by this Feb anyway and iX3 is only now really rolling out.
Porsche is a scratch...
I ordered my Macan 4 last July and it has only now been built with delivery middle to end of March (Iām away for a bit around that time, complicating matters). So, a very long lead timeā¦. Nothing to fancy spec-wise, either.
Itās also a company car with Porsche Reading fulfilling the order...
BMW had this nailed with their shortcut keys that looked like radio pre-set buttons but could actually be coded to short cut to, say, CarPlay, tone controls, tyre pressures, speed dial to a particular phone number - or even as a radio preset :CWL:
but they got rid of them in the last couple of...
So, as a newbie to Porsche, what extra benefit does having PASM with air suspension bring compared to steel suspension - apart from ability to change the ride height?
Full disclosure: Iāve already ordered PASM with steel suspension. Wasnāt able to test the different versions at the time of...
hi, thanks for the info. Yes, Iām in the UK but Iām guessing as this is a āsalary sacrifice company carā Iāve not got the same attention as a private buyerā¦. Ridiculous considering Iām paying the same (if not more) to Porsche.
I donāt see anything like you describe in the app, under the ācarā...
So, my dealer advised this week that my car has been built! Didnāt say anything about potential delivery date (to UK) :confused:apart from Iām going to get a mail from Porsche.
Good news, but annoying as no prior updates, let alone a ātrack your dreamsā journey.
Said mail arrives, with a VIN...
Ordered a Macan 4 in July last year - hopefully get it in March. Dealer not being very helpful re the actual build date setting up the online updates :(
This is the what Iāve gone for: Dolomite Silver with Red Burgundy leather š
Classic combo in my mind
Ordered it back in July last year and hopefully will be here by Easter š¤. Canāt waitā¦
Makes sense. If the charging network aināt up to it (either by number of locations or the technical capability) then it completely impacts your approach for the trip, I would guess.
Iām curious what the US rules are.
In the UK, there are a couple of issues: one is the general brightness of LED headlights (especially with all the speedhumps, etc, here which can effectively blind an oncoming driver for a split second) and then the delay between a car with dynamic/matrix...
So, in my BMW X3 (last generation): as described in the quote above, if no front passenger, then you have to slide the buckle to the very top and it then connects to the āhoopā area, which is magnetic, and stays there. Is the Macan seatbelt āhoopā bit magnetic also?
This is what the video posted earlier in this thread alludes to. It also identifies the kind of cost impact this approach incurs - again, only an indication not a definitive statement.
As I said in my original post, I just wanted an indication of impact of a bigger cruising speed. I fully...
Wondering what everyoneās real world experience is regarding the impact of driving at 80mph vs 70mph on the motorway.
As posted previously, my Macan 4 is due in March and it will be my first full EV. Currently have a PHEV BMW X3 30e hybrid which is pretty much petrol-only at cruising speeds...
