I had a puncture repaired the other day, the technician said another Macan ev driver had their tyres replaced at 9000miles and they were bald. It's not looking good
I fixed it by setting the open height to very low. Closed it and then open and manually push it all the way back up and hold the button. I think I broke the calibration by setting it an inch lower than it was.
I tried standing at the side of the car and it didn't like it.
I think I caused the problem by adjusting it by 2 inches and trying to set it again.
Setting it half way and then doing it to the proper height seems to have resolved it in the end.
Was getting worried as I used to be able to...
Thank you so much, that worked. I did it at the half way mark, set that height. And that managed to close. Then I pushed it to the height I wanted and set it again and it works now.
I think because I adjusted it by an inch or two earlier in the week, it could be confused the position I moved...
It's gotten ev worse now. Everytime I open the boot it won't close at all. Keeps giving a beep as though there is a obstruction. Opening from the drivers seat, same thing, can't close it again from inside the car.
Anyone know how to disconnect the 12v battery and let it reset and recalibrate...
I tried resetting the boot opening height by holding the button, but that didn't resolve it. It's happened twice this week. I thought it detects obstructions from resistance on the struts.
Has anyone had a problem where the button won't close.
I don't have comfort access, but when I press the close button, it attempts to close, moves a bit and then beeps.
The only way I could get it to close is to pull the boot down half way and press the button again.
I didnt have any...
I have the 8way, no complaints. The 18s look nice but maybe block the light into the rear. Also, the steering column is manually adjusted on the 8 way, electric on the 14, which maybe important if you share your car with your partner.
I was on the motorway and hadn't changed any of the settings and it starts fogging up, not ideal. Also it doesn't produce much heat unless you provoke it to a high setting.
Glad the update should fix it.
My windows seem to fog up during winter times even with the AC on. I end up having to have Max demister to clear it. Usually with Ice cars, we don't get fog with just the AC on.
Anyone else experience this
My relative had an x1 OTA update and it bricked the car. Had to be towed to a repair centre and a rental car provided to them whilst it was being reflashed.
But still, given the direction the industry is going, they need to invest more into their own software. Imagine if porsche could do...
Our charge port door wouldn't open the other day. The DC side had a spinning icon on the dash. Tried opening rear doors, leaving the car off for a while, driving it etc. No luck. Called our local porsche dealer and they said they wouldn't be able to help on day and recommended porsche assist...
