May the sound be the power electronics? They usually whine specially on transitories of power like acceleration or braking. Any power eletronics drive for servomotors do that sound and battery electronics may do a similar sound as well (when delivering power or regenerative braking).

Unplugged cars loose SoC at a certain rate if unused and unplugged after 24h or so. Look at the manual for details. Specially if the SoC is above 80%.

I wish It had the "kill peagons" mode, where the car was so silent you could run over pigeons like in the first EV generations.
