nobody outside of VW/Rivain knows, but I would suggest with $5 billion spent they may consider it a group wide investment - the first project was an Audi Q6…I think it will not be limited to scout.
I would suggest it will be consider project by project with a goal of unifying on a common...
this is not necessarily true - and actually flys in the face of industry experience with agile software management - what you say "can be true" - but is not necessarily true…
crappy software management = crappy softwarse
excellent software management = excellent software
the frequency has...
desitination chargers are not app based - they are just normal residential charger that you plug in - no account required/necessary or supported
if plugging it in doesn't work - then there is nothing else to do.
this was a better effort - but I have no intention of given up my day job - but this one I authored was better than my more recent attempt - enjoy or not!

yeah I know - more and more every month - but still a fraction of the "entire" network…but yeah in some regions Magicdocks effectively make supercharging "agreement free" and you don't even need an adapter - they provide it for you!!
but for example there was not a single MagicDock supercharger...
it's still unclear to me as to the suitability of the Macan for off road usage - and if the battery tray is more "dent proof" - given Porsche's history with the Taycan and truly minor damage to the battery tray - I'm not sure I'd risk getting a minor dent followed by a $72k repair bill to...
with "baseline" being existing FOB's and their wireless design/communication/protocols - it's hard to imagine iOS/Andriod being "less" secure than any existing physical FOB's
also asking what is or is not secure with out identifying the "attack vector" you're defending against is also a bit of...
if you can't charge at Tesla destiantion and EA chargers I'm thinking you need to have the car inspected by dealer - seems to have problems with the vehicle…might need some warranty work.
I'm not a fan - only the lawyers make out with those in my opinion - and this issue is actually small potatoes
but in my mind it's a proxy for does Porsche care about EV's enough to get it "right"…
for an engineeering centric company renowned for getting the details right - this particular...
the real issue is figuring what "the truth" is
is it really 9.6 kW hardware limited
is it different
is it 11 kW
did porsche make a mistake with software
do they internally know it's a mistake
can they fix it
will they fix it
do they care
the truth of this situation is only known by a few...
Porsche's website now lists 2025 Macan as having a 9.6 kW onboard charger - this matches the specs of the Audi Q6
so at least they are no longer lying - I still find it hard to believe the rest of tghe world is 11 kW and the North American charger is 9.6 kW - and also their other EVs/Hybfrids...
I charge everyday with one of those chargers - but sometimes there are just hic ups
try resetting the Tesla charger if you can - if that doesn't work it's probably nothing you're doing wrong and it's jsut that charger for some reason.
typically the car ignores voltage and managed amps/current…both the PMCC and the Tesla Gen3 Wall charger show "amps flowing through" it during charge session - and 40.7 seems to be the value my Macan pulls…which is odd - it should only pull 40 amps or less when it's talking to the PMCC since...
EVSE's don't work that way - they report the amps they can provide - there is no such thing as a "smart" EVSE - just the J-1772 protocol
also the EVSE do not control charging - the vehicle does - the macan is in complete control of the charging process - even the amount of current it draws from...
