I did not read the article but I've owned two tesla with auto pilot and while the system isn't infallible it is very good. I would say that any accident while driving on autopilot is because of operator failure, not the autopilot system.

you're correct, zermatt is a touristy town. but don't let that put you off. Zurich is a bit dull, getting out to a place like zermatt would be good for you.

in zermatt in summer there isn't that much to do other than hiking trips near the matterhorn. there is a train that goes up to a peak close by and you could trek back down to zermatt.

it sounds like porsche and some other EV manufacturers need to expend the time and expense to properly train more techs for the cars they are selling.

while porsche taycans are selling at numbers comparable to their flagship cars their service centers have 10 techs for those legacy cars for every 1 qualified tech for their hot selling EV

have you considered taking a few days to drive it home? I drove my first tesla 1k miles to FL and that drive will certainly get you intimate with the car.

FWIW; the regen can be adjusted from high, to where it appears your car was set at to low which will be a lot less harsh
