Kinda disappointed they're not offering Chalk for some reason. I'll go with Ice Grey Metallic (which is a $3k special color on the Taycan btw), coming from a Volcano Grey ICE Macan.

We haven’t heard of the specs yet. Hopefully some surprises there. Otherwise it’s difficult to make a crossover/SUV look better than a sedan, especially given that Taycan is arguably the best looking EV out there. ;)

Hasn't it already been delayed due to software issues? I'd be surprised if it's not available by spring/summer 2024 as a model year 2025 car.

It's a prototype so I won't be surprised if it has a smaller battery. No way Porsche releases a sub-300km EV in 2023/2024.

Well Rivian is different in the way that they have a direct-to-consumer model. Our deposits are essentially interest-free loans. I know $1k is nothing in the grand scheme of things but they do add up. I'd be more ok giving Porsche a $1k loan than giving it to my local dealer, if that makes sense.

And yet a local dealer is asking $1000 deposit (refundable at least) to be on their Macan EV's waitlist, which apparently already has a few people on it. What a crazy world we're living in ?

Wow I didn't know you can rent Teslas from these traditional car renting companies now. Was cost similar to renting an ICE car in the same price range ($50k - $60k)?

Good news for Lucid I guess? I'd get a Lucid over the EQS and the i7 in a hearbeat, if I were in the market for a luxury EV sedan.
