Still trying to come to terms with the “disappearing hands” on my DSOTM Apollo 8. I love the watch so I will likely never unload it. Maybe after the warranty is over I’ll take a page out of Dee’s book & get a watchmaker to swap out the hands for ones with more contrast.

Way back in the mid ‘10s, I lived in NC and got to participate in a 2-year LEAF EV study. We were able to lease the LEAF for a stupid $150/month in exchange for letting the research company install a telematics box in the car. Also came with a free L2 EVSE install in my garage. Unreal! Anyway...

Unfortunately I wear a Swiss chrono on my left & a watch-looking Garmin Vivoactive 4S on my right because I can’t find a fitness “band” with the same 24/7 monitoring functions.

Indeed, an IWC Ingeniuer Chronograph Sport has been on my wishlist for quite some time, though I doubt I’ll ever find one priced that I’m willing to shell out for.

Is there a Swiss brand behind the PD watches, and/or do they use well-known movements? Not trying to be snobbish, just curious. :)

I have a competing product (GarageDeck) in my workshop and I am 100% happy that I did this over a coating. The more research I did into coating, the more problems I read about hot tires picking it up, not to mention all the prep that needed to go into the floor before you even got started...
