Solid black is a great colour but like black Limos you need a chauffeur to keep it looking good . Jet Black metallic is far easier to live with!

I would agree with that comment ! I hate having the HSW on when it’s over 10c is that 50F for Trumpland 😵‍💫. The colder the outside temperature gets the warmer the wheel gets ( I think!)

Thanks …. But …… The Taycan /etron GT set up is different from the Macan. I could delay start and reduce the percentages in Taycan - can’t find anything in Macan.

I have just returned home with 13% of charge left . I wanted to charge between 12 midnight and 5 am 35kwh but I cannot do this it seems without charging at peak rate to 25% first. Far more cost effective than hotels - Porsche Colchester paid for our night in a hotel and it was extremely expensive and not great value. Nice though.

Interesting- I bought my 992.1 Turbo S from them in September 2023 and px my 21 Targa 4S - absolutely fabulous customer service @porschecolchester and I reckon I saved well over £20k over my local dealer 200 miles away. again - my local dealer again failed to deliver proper customer service...

I think that’s a bit harsh ! Good discounts on stock cars. No need for lots of options. Good residual compared to others - it’s an SUV so I don’t really see it as classic Porsche . Take a look at other similar products - Q6 , id6 etc.

I highly recommend Porsche Tewkesbury and Colchester from who I’ve bought Macan EV and 911 Turbo S in last couple of years - customer service at Silverstone and Reading has been great but sadly my local dealer has not got a clue, pushy false sales people, including the boss - great service guys...

I was quoted £500 on my Taycan for 2 year service at dealer - no reason to think Macan will be any more!

It will be heavier ! Unless you really need such a large beast as the Cayenne all the time I would buy a van and a sensible sized car or even an estate car. Just my 2p as most Range Rover sized cars seem to be driven by one person or + kids and are a menace to park etc etc. of course there are...

Agree about the poor Cayenne driving experience- had a loaner for a week in 2024 - hybrid in Crayon - poor economy and handled like a ‘ **t on a trampoline’ - asked dealer for a 1980s Transit van next time as they ( arguably) handled better!
