I’ve asked my dealer for the update for my Macan 4 (september 2025). This was the answer: “For your Macan, only an optional update for the surround view camera is currently available. No other control units can be updated.”. Think this is weird.

Yes you can. I replaced my compass with a subsecond clock from my Taycan. The mounting is a bit different so I 3d printed a new bracket. it’s exactly the same as original. You can adjust the brightness and it will show the correct time ;-). the connection plug is the same so no need to change...

Will you do the full mid console in leather, including the ugly plastic parts of the “handle bars” that stay plastic even with the Porsche full leather package? What company in NL is doing the job (at what price?)

When the car is locked, you cannot open the boot. You have to unlock the car automatically first with "proximity". This is different from my Taycan. I think the salesperson is partly right. The description in the settings is also confusing. See in Dutch: ”sleutel moet in het voertuig aanwezig...

I just picked up my new macan.And with new software the tailgate will only open when the key is inside the car…… no I’m not kidding. It was mentioned by the sales rep who said it was a crazy new safety thing from Porsche.
