As above, I had enable Porsche Connect, but even then it took 24hrs for the SoC and preconditioning functions to appear. All works well now. This is my experience in NZ.

For it to be Apple CarKey it will need to be UWB, not NFC. UWB is far more advanced, been in some cars like the BMW iX since 2022 and works extremely well.

If it’s actually Apple CarKey (fingers crossed) it’s UWB based and needs special hardware - not just Bluetooth on general car connectivity. CarKey works really well on our BMW iX M60 - would be a great addition to the Macan.

Incredibly hard to imagine a price increase on the Macan electric anytime soon, unless Porsche wants to indulge in self harm and further reduce sales. The hefty price hike on the facelift Taycan effectively killed sales on that model - the market is adjusting, Porsche may not have quite worked...

Looks incredible! We had XPEL Stealth (a similar product) on our old iX M60 Storm Bay and loved it. When we upgraded to a 2024 iX M60 we decided not to re-apply it though, just for something different.

What is the experience like in the Macan PCM when you have multiple CarPlay or Android Auto devices connected? Is that even possible, is switching between two devices straight forward?
