I have alcantara on my RS3 wheel and also my Abarth 500e, I like the feel and haven’t had too much of an issue with maintenance either. I’m blessed with hands that don’t get too oily which might help. I’ve optioned racetex on my Macan Turbo.
We have an iX M60 as well, I noticed the lacklustre acceleration when I took the Taycan GTS for an extended day long test drive…until I put it into Sport or Sport Plus mode. Then it brought it close to the M60 experience in terms of acceleration.
