The turbo is significantly crazier than the 4, so I suspect the latter is the detuned form of a yet-to-follow model in between. (Although the price difference is pretty narrow.) That upcoming model (whether it's an S or GTS) will presumably use the same drivetrain/suspension etc. so I'm really...
I agree on the dearth of reviews of the 4. However, the SavageGeese review talked a lot about the suspension, steering and overall feel, which had nothing to do with the power of the turbo. I would take the reviewer you mentioned with a grain of salt.
Nope, yep, yep, fuckno.
I do quite like Tom Ford with TopGear (and his writing is even better than the filmed stuff).
(Went with the yellow review; stunning color, suits the car very well. Wouldnāt be caught dead near one, mind you, but Iām glad it exists.)
A seller will charge what the market bears. You're not, in any way, subsidizing US prices ; perhaps a better perspective into what drives pricing policy would be things like: average income, market size - especially relative to the cost of operating/certifying the model for sale in...
Is that, like, a handstand or something? Or is it more of a āposeā, a la Usain Bolt?
Glad to see the Macan off to a good start. Hope it wonāt disappoint. Iāll be curious to see how the new Taycan fares.
Does work for me either (tried Edge and Duck).
Given your location, OP, Iām guessing itās the press release drives - we should get a new wave of reviews soon.
BTDT with ordering a new Porsche. The Macan EV is a very compelling replacement for our ICE S, but Iāll be picking one gently used, for 1/2 price in ~3 years.
The scroll button is right there, and the detents help with precision. Plus I hate fingerprints on that display.
Interesting point about letter input; I tried that several times, when the nav voice command is useless and the keyboard is disabled. IMO it is quite possibly the most useless...
āInsanely dumbā - š. It is literally one of the 2 buttons on the steering wheel I use (the other being the volum control, which, okay, is not a button). Goes to show how vastly different preferences can be. Hopefully they kept the ability to program at least one button on the wheel; it would be...
Looks very nice indeed. Vents seem to be manually adjustable now, there appears to be a physical volume button, and the closed cubby would be more useful than a tray under the screen.
I am not bothered by the current layout or absence of buttons; I rarely touch the climate controls, and the...
I should add that that^ is because itās a museum; if it were a contemporary showcase, itād say āwe like to sell limited edition models. A lot of them.ā
I suspect more power would have meant beefier motors, power electronics and so more weight, reduced efficiency or more battery etc. (If Iām not mistaken, the Tesla that beat the Taycan had/has 3 motors.) For all I know, more power might have meant a beefier single speed transmission, and so the...
I thought by now you'd knew when I'm shitposting tongue-in-cheek, though the complexification quip was half serious. There was a clear advantage to 2-gear transmissions on the Taycan, and the proof is that Tesla beat those numbers "the American way" (more power!). As in, at a given/fixed power...
