Congrats! I wish they had released the 4S when I ordered mine… tried to change 4 to 4S but it was already locked for production.
Can you time the actual 0-100 with launch control?
Guys - whoever is claiming worse consumption than iX - give it some time for the car to break in. My efficiency is improving weekly, even the temperatures going down in Europe now with winter arriving. I’m easily averaging 19-20kwh/100km for morning / evening drives to/ from office which is 12km...
For now hard to tell how the interior will last, but I never wear jeans and always light colored chinos so for me no issue. My kid rides in the booster seat still so also nonissue. I think it will be fine if you just clean any stains right away (keep some wet tissues etc in the car at all times)
My consmuption has been dropping steadily - here's a result of a day's drive, it was a lot of highway and city both, I'd say 70% highway, 30% city, but there was plenty of traffic as well, hence the average speed is lower. It was sunny and around 15.5c (so slightly better weather for a change)...
New day - new pic and new consumption figures. We are offically down to 20.8-21kwh/100km over the latest several drives. So false alarm and all is good!
I can’t compare macan with and without, but I can compare Macan without (but with PASM - so steel springs with PASM option) vs my previous Taycan 4 CT with air suspension and PASM.
Out of these two I prefer the Macan steel springs and PASM, without air, no joke. It’s very forgiving and smooth...
Monday I will drive to the office - it's 19.5km each way (approx) and my i4 M50 usually averages out 20.5kwh on such a drive, it's 80% highway and 20% city. My last drive in the i4 was last wednesday and that's what I've gotten. So Monday I will do that same road (little to mixed traffic...
Another consumption update:
Today drove with Eco Plus mode turned on mixed highway (up to 135-140kmh) and city (anything between 30 and 50kmh), about 60% highway 40% city, over about 60km - consumption reduced to 18.8kwh /100km. Temps were same as yesterday around 11-12c and wet road plus rain...
It’s a resell value option more than anything to be honest, definitely less important on Macan ev than on a 911 or even Taycan for example.
That being said i tested sport plus today extensively on my Macan 4 and it does provide:
- more direct throttle response
- super hard and nervous...
Consumption update:
Today did about 35-40km of city driving. Conditions were about 10-12c, heavy rain and wind (so quite nasty weather). Consumption was howering around 26kwh / 100km. All in all - extremely high. I used mainly normal mode.
On my i4 M50 this would be around 21kwh maximum...
Yeah the standard interior is very nice. The materials are great (even the dash and the doors inserts), feels very high grade and not basic at all. The dash you almost can't tell isn't leather, its some kind of PU material with slight soft touch and very fine texture 99% leather like. Probably...
Update on infotainment / apps:
- Somehow the car things I have no active data subscription, even though in My Porsche app it says Vodafone contract has been activated (5G & 5GB per month). Anyone with the same issue?
- Workaround is to put one of my phones into access point mode and give...
Here it is guys! I believe #4 delivered by the Dealer, and maybe first 10 in NL overall, or maybe even in Europe (and hence worldwide).
This is the Macan 4 EV, with Ice Gray Metallic, Offroad Design Package.
See my impressions / details thread...
Here it is guys! I believe #4 delivered by the Dealer, and maybe first 10 in NL overall, or maybe even in Europe (and hence worldwide).
This is the 4, with Ice Gray Metallic.
Some impressions (in no particular order):
- Steel PASM is great, car doesn't lean anywhere - literally take any turn...
MY changes in July/Aug I believe, but dealers already know that any new orders won’t make it to that timeline so already adding 4.5K to 6K on top. And if yours is not they will still charge you this extra when delivered. (Unless you make custom agreement).
So in fact even online configurator...
