RAS: top of the top on the Turbo.
Passenger screen: wife uses it at each trip, I enjoy it at each car startup and beautiful even in standby mode
Bose: bass are sufficiently boomy, and the trebles sound going enough IMO. Frankly happy with it.
Extended leather in limestone: so classy.
Porsche illuminated logo on the seats: oh yes! A must have
blue headlights: this blue is a nice touch on IG, and the animation for on and off is nice at night.
black tailights: the coming/leaving animation is really cool, but beside that, I can’t see any value in this ”black finish”.

Ice grey: it’s an amazing color in the flesh. Not white at all… Probably one of the best color I’ve ever had on a car.

I think I’ll miss Innodrive, I don’t miss the rear wiper at all (and I do prefer the general look without).

I can’t say if double layered glass is useful: no comparison point. Car is quiet, obviously.
I must wait the summer to see if 4 zones climate control makes sense.

It’s a shame we can’t have the compass and the sport+ mode. The chrono is useless, the compass is useful and logical into a SUV…

I need to drive a car without the double layered glass. I can't tell if there is any difference. I hear engine noise on my other cars but other than that it doesn't seem much quieter other than not having an ICE.

- insulated glass makes my doors not close fully. (assumption)
- should have optioned the sport chrono
- 4-zone climate not a must

I have insulated glass with no door problems. I wouldn't put the two in correlation.
Maybe some alignment issues which have a bigger consequence because of the insulated glass?

The only thing I would put more attention to is matching matte/glossy elements (side blades, window frames, mirrors, handles and side skirts) to the color and version (4/S/Turbo). My thinking was that matte was cheap looking but in reality it's very fine and I would even say on some combinations looks better than gloss.

As for other observations here - noise insulated windows are GREAT and must gave given this car has a lot of noise from wheels. Passenger screen is rarely used but looks great when you match the theme color to your leather color. Panoramic roof is really cool, all the cars I've enjoyed the most had the panoramic roof so it adds to the experience :) Innodrive is no Tesla FSD but when you drive on highways it's also a must have IMO, reduces the fatigue.

Overall one thing that changes the class of entire car is extended leather, when you compare cars with and without it - it's night and day, makes huge difference.

I regret buying mine, and I don't even have it yet. I miss my X4M. I traded it in too early.

First-world problems for sure, but maybe I'll feel differently when I'm in the 4S. I have a feeling it's going to be a short-term relationship, though. I bought it simply because I liked my friend's ICE Macan, and I went EV because I don't like going to the gas station in the winter. It'll be collecting dust and depreciation 6 months out of the year while I'm driving my summer car.

Don't be like me, folks. I'm what's wrong with the world. 🙃

lol.. you might be surprised and like it more than you know now 🤣. You will be going “X4M what?” As the memory of that car shrinks in the distance..Hehe 😜. If you liked your friends Macan then that’s the open door because the EV is better and no more gas stations ⛽ ( IMHO of course). All good fun..🤩

My Macan 4 is not yet delivered, so please take the following with a grain of salt. I'll definitely make sure to report out impressions after delivery.

I decided to follow dealer's advice and freeze date came earlier than I would have liked. Having read a few threads around, there's a few options I'd consider differently now:
  • Partial leather: I didn't pay enough attention and only found out recently that extended leather has stitched leather on top part of door panels, plus leather on the steering wheel airbag module. I don't care so much about other places like the top and bottom part of the dash, but really think it would look so much better with at least the upper door panels and airbag module covered with leather. Especially, the stitching on door panels matching the dash one looks much better IMHO
  • InnoDrive: dealer advised not to spec it because it agressively reacts to sometimes fake speed limits. I seems to perform quite well actually and you can disable that speed adjustment "feature" if it turns out to be an annoyance. Plus the option is definitely not that expensive over ACC and coudl really save the day for long trips on the highway when getting tired. WOuld probably spec it if I could.
  • Heated windscreen: dealer told us it's not really useful as you can pre-heat the cabin, but now winter has kicked in over here in rainy Normandy I remeber that my #1 enemy is condensation; that heated windscreen would probably be more efficient than blowing hot air
  • 4-zone climate: I didn't spec it to avoid kids messing up with AC and also because dealer said "it's a small cabin anyhow so who cares?". Since then I figured out you can control everything from the PCM screen (contrary to the 3-zone climate in our current Macan), which would address cases where my daughter says "dad, I'm cold" while my son says "no, I'm fine, don't change", then triggering a backseat fight...
  • Thermal and noise insulating glass: I spec'd in sunroof, and dealer advised "the roof isn't insulated anyhow so will pick up noise and heat from there", which made sense. Now I wonder whether I did not make a mistake... TIme will tell :)
Other than the above minor points, I must say that I was able to get the car I've been waiting for pretty much since they announced the Macan EV project. Test driving the thing was a pleasure and such a smooth transition from our current Macan S. It's pretty much a very familiar car: keeping all the things we like, yet still making it better, more modern, responsive and easy to drive.

Finally, not really a regret but something I'll definitely reconsider next time if budget and time allows (would have had to wait a few extra months to get an allocation), adding a S next to the 4.... I really wonder how more fun it would be to drive with that extra letter  But in all honnesty it would probably be overkill for daily driving so not a big deal.

Full leather, partial leather is a personal preference and cost based. Besides, colour choice is limited.
InnoDrive, I don't miss at all. With ACC, I still get lane keep assist. Good enough for me.
Edit: And I still get speed recognition.

Agree 4-zone climate not necessary for small car as in standard one, each child at the back can still adjust flow of the air, and or stop completely. What they can't do is control the temp.

Besides, 4-zone climate protrudes out more and in the standard one you get a space where you can put a phone. Carwow reviewer even found that 4-zone climate is prone to getting knocked when someone slides in and out, if not careful.
