I think mine sounds fine to my ears. I never had premium sound system in my cars before though... Music is good and bluetooth is good.

I feel that it is not as good as the car audio system of my previous Grand Cherokee. You can feel it by comparing it. It is really average.

There is a problem with carplay not being able to connect. I have been driving this car for one and a half months, and there have been 3 cases where carplay could not connect. I had to delete it and connect it again. Although it is a simple solution, it makes people feel very unhappy. Also, the delay of carplay is more serious than I thought.

No problems with Apple CarPlay disconnecting for me. I have to turn volume up allot more for CarPlay vs a regular station, I also had to turn the Fader to the front speakers because when on cement interstates the road noise is a little loud.

I switched from a 2016 Audi that had a Bang and Olufsen sound system package, pretty great stuff. I think the SR5 is great unless you go above 45-50 volume level, that's where I've seen the decrease in quality.

Also have experience with the 3 german manufacturers and I will say this. The non JBL sound system is noticeably worse. Not as much fidelity, no depth. No matter what you do with the settings you can't add bandwidth. If you come from a Hyundai it might sound like an upgrade to you. But it gets the job done

Well you bought an SR5 so the sound I would say wouldn’t be all that great since it’s the base model, if it doesn’t have any premium sound. You get what you pay for it (IMO)

Not good. Need upgrade but none available yet. Waiting or Crutchfield for note. Works well but sound cheap.

Sounds good. We have a 25 Tacoma with the JBL and sub woofer to compare with. I would say with all the adjustment you can do they will sound pretty close with most music. Maybe that's my age talking. Someone does sell a plug and play amp. I believe it's called Beatsonic.
