Love this bad boy. Base, but has everything I need. Would be nice to have a power lift gate but I can live without it.
Just wanna see what you all have been doing with your SR5s.
Front tint for me so far. Bigger tires might be next..

My goal was to minimize expenditure on both the purchase and extras. So, I got the SR5 with 4WD. I found one that had minimal accessories that I could not have removed. They included Door Edge guards, OEM Cargo and cabin mats and running board, step. I like the door edge guards.

I then added Hood struts, Hood Insulation, Front XPel PPF, High Performance Louder) horns, black film covers for the safety stickers on visors.

I have no intension or need to use off-road. If I did, I'd buy a Land Rover defender. I personally do not see the point of adding thousands of dollars in extras. That is money you will never get back. I get it, some folk enjoy that personalization or stretching the limits of a vehicle with suspension, tires, engine performance mods. When the time comes to buy replacement tires, I may opt for larger on the same wheels to improve its on-road drivability over pot holes. My theory is larger sidewall but, equally, I may stay with the stock size.

As mentioned in a recent SR5 thread, I only miss not having the parking sensors and was surprised they are not part of the safety 3.0 package.

Really enjoying my SR5 4wd. I was able to get over 3k off and have since put that saving into pro wheels, tires, fenders, grill and ppf. Looks fantastic. Love how light it feels when driving and plenty of power. It will be my daily driver. Wrapped the plastic trimming in black gloss vinyl on the screen and it made a huge difference also for a few bucks of material if you diy.

So far, bigger AT tires, Trailhunter front and transmission skid plates, full size spare and as of this weekend a lot of pinstripes from overgrown trails. I bought the SR5 because I would rather spend the difference in price on the modifications I wanted, and not worry as much about dinging a $70k vehicle every time I’m on a trail.
