Installed a new set of Nova headlights from Alpharex.

You have to remove the front bumper, to access all the mounting hardware. I just installed the covert SS winch bumper from CBI recently so I had already cut some of the front facia, bumper and removed all the clips-bolts along the bottom, so it was super quick too install these.

Last pic shows the stock OEM headlights on the right compared to the Alpharex Nova on the left.

So what’s the story with the dual projector model? Assuming they’re less bright and not crazy about the yellow on the side with the white DRL but that’s a heck of a price difference

AlphaRex has a LOT of different options.

The dual projector model you're referring to is the LUXX-Series. You're right, they are not as bright as the NOVAs since they use a dual projector setup instead of the triple 3D projectors. Still solid performance, but a bit of a step down in overall output and beam quality.

The yellow reflector on the side is more of a DOT requirement and shows up more in the Alpha Black housing. If you’re looking for the best light output and can swing the price the NOVAs are worth it. But if you're on more of a budget the LUXX-Series is a solid value. We have flash sales on AlphaRex often plus you can also use promo codes.

Hope that helps!

Makes sense, thank you!

Ugh, maybe I just need to get my life right and order a set of these. That’s adult $$$ though. Are they noticeably better than the non premium OEMs? What’s the guess on a reasonable price to expect on the OEM premium take offs?
