Zroadz bracket kit for tacoma fits as the 4runner is the same body wise for alot of things. The kit is great and comes with almost everything needed to install. The instructions are excellent with pics! It comes with the printed instructions so you don't have to print it from their website. The process is mostly the same for the brushless compressor install except the bracket part. The mounting holes pretty much line up. Its not perfect but it will work if using the bolts with the bracket kit. I had mounted the compressor bracket and air attachment to the zroadz bracket before install to make things easier. You will need to loosen the 2 Allen screws on the compressor bracket to be able to slide the compressor in and out. You will tighten the Allen screws after you slide the compressor down after the bracket is mounted with your compressor fittings set.
You will need the ARB air up kit as stated in the instructions unless you were to piece out each component.
This is how I set up my pressure switch and line to the quick connector.
The hardest part is the wiring and I used a fuse tap to the drivers side fuse box for the ignition signal. I used the blank S/HTR 15a slot on my TRD ORP as its capable to handle the amperage. I used a 7.5s fuse in the fuse holder which is close enough to the 8a that it says in the instructions.
You can slide up the harness to the fuse box and remove the cover to the wire loom. I put the wires through the loom and into the fusebox.
I took the ARB harness and made it my own removing the unused wires and made it to length for my install. I am not running additional lockers so I am just using the isolation switch side of the wiring. I also used cable loom like the factory harness and used 3m electrical tape around the loom to make it look like factory.
The ground I used the bolts to the bracket which attaches to the fender side. The power I ran to the battery terminal. I secured the harness with cable ties.
The hood propt is too long on the bottom side and hits the body when put up into the hood. I had to grind down the end and paint it to prevent it from rusting. Other than that it works. You will not need it though if you have hood struts.
Overall very pleased with the setup. Just need to add an air to water separator cause I did notice moisture does get created in the lines when using for a while. Also if you don't know but the compressor and air fitting closest to the compressor does get burning hot!
