Bidirectional ODB2 Scan Tool for Porsche EVs

Any recommendations for a bidirectional scan tool for the Porsche Macan EV (or Taycan)? I intend to use this for service interval resets including brake fluid flushes, coolant flushes, battery health, etc. (I presently use an Ancel DS160 on my 2025 Cayman.)

I am considering buying the Launch X431 CRP919 EV 2026 Bidirectional Scan Tool with a listed price of $549 US.

Based on the product details and the CRP919 EV's official software support list, Porsche EV is listed as a supported brand (entry #81 "Porsche_EV").

The OBD-II on the Macan EV is very anemic, because it's a brand new platform that does most of its telematics over Ethernet, not CAN bus / OBD. And because it doesn't need emissions checking, there aren't any government required protocols to implement.

Check whether the device you consider also supports the Audi Q6, which is a sister of the Macan EV. If not, it's unlikely the Macan is well supported.

Also, I can't say that it seems like a quality documented product:

Thanks for the reply. Very good advice about scanner support for the Audi Q6. I hadn't considered this.
