I’ve searched the internet to try find some actual dimensions for the boot space rather than just the 480-540L stat but had little luck.
Currently planning ahead for the arrival of my 4S and was hoping someone who already has one could help me out. When ordering I was concerned about the boot dimensions so took our existing suitcase to the dealership which confirmed there wasn’t an efficient way to fit them in and leave space for two small dogs. But it didn’t look like much of a reduction in suitcase size would be required. I stupidly didn’t take any measurements though and we are due to go on holiday a few days after our delivery date (assuming it doesn’t get pushed back) so was hoping to get new suitcases sorted in advance.
My key question is whether it would be possible to fit a 68cm long, 46cm wide suitcase on its side and the boot still shut (ie whether 68cm from the back seat there is still 46cm of height or whether by this point the angle of the boot means it would hit. I can confirm that I had no luck with a 76cm long by 50cm wide suitcase in the showroom, both stood up or on its side with the only option being fully flat.
Any help would be appreciated!
