Cabin Air Filter Part Number (OEM Toyota)

87139-60030
is the non-carbon cabin air filter version
87139-30110 is the carbon cabin air filter version

Note: 87139-0C010 (non-carbon) is NOT the correct part number

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Instructions

Toyota recommends checking the cabin air filter every 15,000 miles. To replace it:
  1. Open the glove box
  2. Push in the sides to release the stops and lower it completely
  3. Remove the cabin filter housing cover
  4. Pull out the filter cartridge and inspect it
  5. Insert the new filter (make sure the AIR FLOW direction arrows point down)
  6. Reinstall the cover and glove box
Cabin filters trap dust, pollen, and airborne contaminants. A clogged filter can reduce HVAC airflow and window defogging performance.

I just ordered a set of all the filters - searching on the web showed these numbers (not validated yet, haven't arrived). That's the carbon cabin filter FWIW.

I think both work - one has carbon, the other is just dust. They both come up on https://autoparts.toyota.com/ as fitting
Ah yes, thanks for pointing that out. So then air filter part numbers are as follows:

87139-0C010 is the non-carbon cabin air filter version
87139-30110 is the carbon cabin air filter version

Note, for the 2025 TH and Pro, the Engine Air Filter Part: 17801-YZZ11 is NOT the correct filter. The TH and Pro have a reusable filter that is meant to be cleaned. Toyota apparently no longer sells a cleaning kit. Need to use a third-party cleaning kit such as K&N Air Filter Cleaning Kit-99-5000 (Amazon $24).

If you want to replace the filter with an OEM filter: Toyota PTR03-35241-AA FILTER CONCL TR ($96 Toyota Retail).

Yep, part searches show the disposable one to be compatible. Only one problem - the disposable one in rectangular and the OEM is barrel shaped!

Furthermore, the Owners Manual says to REPLACE the Engine Air Filter every 30K (normal use). No mention about cleaning etc.

The pro one looks rectangular in the pictures too.
Yep, the pro one looks rectangular in the pictures and indicates that it is the right one. However, if you search PTR03-35241-AA, it shows this one is the correct one, and it is! Note Conical shape.

Since the 2025 4Runner is so new, getting the correct part numbers can be difficult.

Went the the dealer to get a replacement cabin filter and the 'updated' part numbers for the cabin filter are as follows:
87139-60030 is the non-carbon cabin air filter version
87139-30110 is the carbon cabin air filter version

Note: 87139-0C010 (non-carbon) is NOT the correct part number

I've just about given up trying to figure out the air filters. The Toyota site gave me flat-out wrong part numbers.
