From the web site:

Following the founding of the company and its setup last year, the focus in 2021 is on operationalization. In addition to developing feature updates over the lifecycle of vehicles based on the MEB modular electric drive platform, the Groupā€™s volume platform, CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform EĀ³ 2.0 for all Group brands. EĀ³ stands for ā€˜end to end electronics architectureā€™. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, EĀ³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

Bringing this post to peopleā€™s attention. It looks like Cariad is the automotive software firm responsible for our collective ā€œless than idealā€ software experience in the Taycan. Iā€™m wondering aloud what might happen if this community started to publicly apply pressure to them via social media. Their website links to all of their social media accounts. It could be worth a shot to help nudge them to do better with their software. Thoughts?

There is a vacancy on their website for a 'Test manager'. He/she will have a challenging job. :)
Hopefully they find somebody competent.

IMO, they are not going to fix our problems at all.
