Is anyone else experiencing this problem, explanation is in the video? The issue is that the CarPlay connection between the phone and the infotainment screen just stops working and won’t connect. My Go Anywhere services may have taken a dive as well. Can anyone share how you hardwire connect to the 14 inch infotainment system?

Out of curiosity as I haven’t tried it, have you tried the USB port on the back of the infotainment screen to see if that allows wired CarPlay?

3400 miles and I haven’t had any issues with Car Play. iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I was trying to find that connection. I guess I haven’t looked hard enough yet. Just picked the TRD ORP up Wednesday and didn’t drive it again until today. So, it just started happening for me. I’ve come across threads indicating the CarPlay connection issues in some form or fashion have been around for a while.

Passenger side of the infotainment screen right at the top. I read that this does allow wired car play, so hopefully that’ll help in the meantime.

Also, make sure both your phone and vehicle are up to date on their software. Most of the issues with connectivity that were present early on were fixed with software updates. You shouldn’t be having connectivity issues. If it persists I’d take it in, though I’m not sure what they’d do aside from software updates.
